Because of pain in the @$$ Calvin poor little Celine is getting shook up too. She actually was looking scared and stopped nursing. She hadn’t yet figured out that Calvin was the target not her. Thankfully she was a smart cookie and would later on just hang on and nurse while Casi and Calvin were having a dispute.

​@@VegaStar1010 I watched this unfold as it happened, so I know exactly what you're saying. Celine was unfortunately a victim of her mother's attempt at charity. I think Casi just couldn't leave a newborn monkey, especially when she just became a mom herself. Eventually Casi realized that her own infant was suffering and she was going to have to choose one or the other. Celine was such a good baby monkey, too, I doubt it was a really difficult decision. Let's face it, Calvin was extremely aggressive and needy, even for a baby monkey!!!

@@dheavymetal6459He’s a “pain” because he wasn’t getting the “maternal care” that Celine was getting and he wasn’t able to hang off the tit all the time, like all baby monkeys do. People can’t seem to understand that Calvin didn’t want anything more than what his instincts were telling him he needed to survive and thrive. Had the roles been reversed and Celine was the “intruder,” people would be calling her the PIA. You’re right, Calvin was innocent and a product of the brutality of nature within this species.

@@Gary-And-His-Demons Then why didn’t she feed him? Why did she bite him and deny him every instinct he was born with in order to survive from day 1? She either had a “maternal instinct” for Calvin or she didn’t. You can’t have it both ways. If what you’re saying were true, Tana would’ve also picked Calvin up when Casi would abandon him because her daughter, Tanya and Casis daughter, Celine, were about the same age. She never did. Neither did any other adult female. Everyone likes to forget, Casi had two teats and not just one. Had she wanted calvin to thrive, she would’ve scooted Celine to the side and bare one teat for Calvin. . just like the forest monkey did with her two babies. Btw, many people watched Calvin’s life story unfold as it was happening. I did too. What’s that got to do with anything? The videos are all still up on KZbin.

Calvin is a perfect example of why humans shouldn't interfere with mother nature. Animals will abandon their offspring when there is something wrong with it. Calvin was doomed from birth. Because of the interference by the vo's, it prolonged Calvin's suffering and eventual demise.

4:11 Classy Calvin was biting, kicking and scratching poor baby girl Celine non-stop for the first 4min of the video. For an encore, he screams right in Casi's face and bares his teeth. Casi was more patient than Job.

@@Gary-And-His-DemonsActually, he didn’t get so thin and bony (emaciated) from dehydration alone. Him drinking water, wouldn’t of saved him. He needed nutrition. Calvin starved slowly, with Cheko, for days and days. Was it starvation or dehydration that inevitably wiped him out? No one knows that answer but considering breast milk is a mammals sole source of nutrition at Calvins newly born age, its probable it would’ve been both. Calvin did die a very slow death in his 2.5 weeks time. I don’t understand why you people want to make such a big argument about that. Breast milk is a liquid but it also has the nutritional makeup that a mammal needs to grow, be strong and thrive. Starvation/dehydration would go hand in hand with a newly born mammal in Calvin’s situation. What does it matter if one is said and not the other?

Exactly. Just pull the funds from the Cambodian Monkey Proprietary Slush Fund, where unlimited amounts of money are sitting there ready to buy milk for every hungry little monkey. Of course the job of actually purchasing the milk and then bringing it to this monkey troop and finding all the hungry monkeys to give it to whenever they get hungry obviously is the responsibility of the people who are getting paid to film and observe the monkeys, because who else would it be. They record them, they should be responsible for everything else too. The thing that crosses my mind whenever people have these heavy opinions about what VO’s should do with a certain monkey is what about all the hundreds of other monkeys going through the same thing or worse that are not being filmed there? Realistically, there are only a handful of monkeys being recorded out of the bunch. Basic math would tell us if we extrapolate the problems the just this handful of monkeys are having out over the whole troop, and all the other various troops in the area, at some point people really should come to the conclusion it is best to live and let die. Feeding a monkey like Calvin doesn’t solve his problem. Calvin’s fight is with survival. But even though I say all of this, the VO’s actually did take Alvin into their possession twice and feed him as much milk as he would accept in that time period before returning him. There is logistics to that which have to be planned for. Human’s cannot just walk up to a monkey and grab a newborn off of it. And it is also extremely rare that a mother monkey will allow an infant monkey to accept food from humans. Occasionally they will. But then you “"have the problem of baby monkeys wanting nothing to eat but hot monkey milk, something they couldn’t even provide him if they tried. So there really is a lot to think about in order to do what you say they should do.

Sad to say but being as no one has showed any actual NEW videos in the last day or so I think poor Calvin is already dead. He was in bad shape. The look of death in his eyes and on his face. He was growing weaker by the minute. None of you VO’s could “MAN UP” and return him to his REAL mother ………considering y’all stole him in the first place (then placed him pretty much w/Cisa)……. Cisa did NOT kidnap Calvin. Watch all of the videos again and pay attention! Hell you can hear a monkey screeching in the background of one or two videos and it was screeching etc while the VO’s were messing with and hovering around Calvin after he’d fallen ………I d pretty much bet on the fact that it was Calvins mom……she was scared shitless of the VO’s but they didn’t gaf…… they steadily kept after her and her baby. Then they placed him on top of a wall which had a tree right next to it and CISA WAS RIGHT THERE IN THAT TREE. She came down and picked him up. Not really sure why seeing as to how she wouldn’t feed him. All she did was carry him as well as mistreat him.

Did you see a video of him actually being thrown out of a tree by his mom? I havent. All i saw was one of her stiiing in a tree looking so sad, then the vid was cut showing calvin on the ground with a bunch of noise of leaves being kicked around. The first vid i saw of them the vos were chasing her in the woods, she was scared to death of them.

@@joannswampgirl2487 I did see it they took it down, well actually it got taken down when one of the thousands of channels back then had all the videos up from his birth to his death and after a little while of going through every video bam. I found it and he was legit smelled a few times as he clung to his mother right after she pushed him out she didn’t pull him up and nurse and clean him she only rested for a min as Calvin stayed clinging to her bottom side, she then licked him up like any of the mothers would a new born and she smelled him gave him a weird look a few times smelled him again and dropped him however he was still attached to the placenta so he just hung there for a min screaming as his mom probably from both the shock and loss of blood did not attempt to grab him pick him up nothing and this is where she after taken a min to get some energy to move she must have had a hard birth but, right then she smells him one last time bites the umbilical cord until it is free and she then just drops him and moves a branch over away from him not to come down and get him and that is where the videos we all have seen a million times now that he was surrounded by humans and they tried to help but did nothing of the such so then tried to give him back and his mother ignored him it’s in the video where casi swoops in and grabs him as soon as the VO’s put him on the step landing area

Do you know that one video can be uploaded an unlimited amount of times and as long as it gets views they can make money on it? Why in the freaking world would they not just continually upload videos that make them money? KZbin has presented itself as a great opportunity for underprivileged p we ople and places throughout the world to get paid to make videos we all want to watch. You re going to bitch about seeing the same video as if it's difficult for you to just click offfbit if you have seen it. I suppose you would be happier if KZbin just cancelled the channel so you don't have to go through such hardships having to guess which videos you've seen.
