It seems civilized, in a way, how the baboon has a sense of social customs. When approaching the lady with the intent to groom her, the baboon puts itself low to the ground in a submissive (friendly) posture and smacks as if to say "I mean no harm" or ask permission to approach/groom before doing so. Pretty neat.
@martyb6944 жыл бұрын
That’s what they do to each other in the wild. They probably think we’re giant monkeys.
@MakinPeaceWithPieces4 жыл бұрын
@@martyb694 Exactly! It's so cool to see different animal social structures and methods of communication. Honeybees communicating directions to one another through their "wiggle dance" (Google if you like, pretty neat) is another example. It's so fascinating.

I think it's amazing how we think we're the only creatures who have manners. But man when the baboon got low like that I wanted to pet it. Then I remembered that it could dismember my hand without even trying. Good manners, but still wild animal.

It's female, if that was male, just like with orangutans they would start touching the female human inappropriately why laughing. Many people believe it's animal abuse on the Human parts and it is human to know better. Males who are adults would be very dangerous when in the presence of any human let alone female. They have been known to rape and it is impossible to stop it once it's happening. Grooming shouldn't be a word we should use when talking about this video or in reference to the on screen activity. It's inappropriate and can alter real perception of the video. These fools suppose to be educated wildlife people... No wonder PETA has to act the way they do when people show irresponsibility. Peta now has a cult following and sadly it's been hijacked by wokeism

peaks888 i shouldnt have to defend myself but im not a rich kid, never have been. In fact i grew up in a family who just got by and even today i work in retail. I just dont spend my money on things i dont need like alcohol, excessive clothes or going out unless its a birthday or special event with my family. In regards to non-canadian wildlife videos on this channel, i dont think you understand why i post videos here. It was never intended or designed for random people, it was the easiest way for my family and friends to all view my travel videos from the world easily without hassle or me having to upload them to individual email addresses as the majority of my family does not and will not support most social media like facebook for example. When you do these trips ( i try once a year if i have the money ) you donate a portion to your food, electricity, water and shelter. Then a larger portion to the animals food, vet care and housing ( enclosures, tracking collars ect ) When you physically do these projects, you are needed for day to day work as most places cannot afford enough workers to preform husbandry tasks, without volunteers they wouldnt be able to help as many animals all at once as there simply would not be enough hands on board. I really don't know what your issue is with me all these years but if you'd like advice i recommend saving via a job and by fundraising for a year or two and try a project yourself and see hands on why its so important to help wildlife not just in your own area of the world but others. Lead by example.
