Not a wife of Henry but one of the most incredible and "fuck you" executions was that of Mary Queen of Scots. The story is long and absolutely amazing but she had the last laugh. Before the execution, she had her maids in waiting shave her head and then she wore a wig to her beheading. After the executioner only grazed her head with the first swing, on the second he only cut most of the way through her neck and literally had to saw it off. With the crowd in shock and horror, the executioner grabber her head by the hair (wig) and lifted it up. The head dropped and rolled away as he was left holding nothing but a wig. The story goes on and it was an insane mess.

It is extremely unlikely Anne committed either treason or incest. Henry was simply in love with someone new and after forcibly changing England's religion (lots of heads chopping involved there) to marry Anne to begin with, he needed a really, really shocking excuse to get rid of her. Henry VIII was one of history's true psychopaths.

If you really look at the pig mask.. I say it's Boris Johnson (the former prime minister or England). Some people think Trump but it's the hair... plus Ren is British so it fits. I read a lot of comments about the meaning of 'the pig'. I think it represents these all! But perhaps in a somewhat different way... To me, at least, the pig is that kind of force that slows us down, while we wish to speed up. Makes our world small, while we want to think big. Oppresses us, while we long to be free. Unsettles us, while we need a sense of belonging and feeling at home. This force can come together in certain powerful individuals (business, politics, and the lot). In political tides. Or in networks of power over generations. Yet, the pig is also inside of us, all of us. To me then, the pig imaginary in Ren's videos represents this ever-present haunting force (whether it moves inwards or is directed outwards). As human beings, though, we have a choice in staying with and dwelling in that force. To be clear, choosing not to do so doesn't mean the pig will go away...that's the biggest life lesson I read in Ren's music ("an eternal dance")

A bit more concrete: the pig may represent that what is holding one from living the life they want. In this video, one might see one's fears confirmed (vaccines, deep state power). But perhaps the 'wars we wage' is the whole fuzz that's created (by media, politics, but in fact by all of us willing to digest) around vaccines/deep state...

But in the videos, the pig is usually in a position that represents some form of greed, such people (Sony) prioritizing money over Ren's health; you either perform sick, or you're fired. or how doctors are often greedy in pushing certain drugs without any regard to the person's condition. Even in this video, the pig is talking about covid/vaccines and wars, and there's lots of money to be made in those areas - lots of greedy ppl out there.
