I was able to play the demo for Fields of Mistria, and this game absolutely blew me away! From the very start of the demo to the end, I wasn't bored for a second. This video covers 3 days in game, which ends up being about an hour, so grab a snack and enjoy! 🥰

I liked the video! I played the demo today after watching. Im not sure it will top stardew for me as of right now, i feel like some of the controls (like the scroll wheel scrolling in the opposite direction than what every other game ive played has it go) feel a little weird to me so it was a bit clunky. Hopefully the developers tweak it a little bit before release, or at least allow us to reverse that input lol. I know that they intend to allow for keybinding changes for the full game but didnt see anything for the wheel itself. It is very cute though (despite my preference for stardews color palette) and the combat seems fun as well! Hopefully the full thing is as entertaining as the demo was.

Oh I totally understand. I’m probably crazy for saying it may top stardew after 3 days but I had so much fun. Hopefully the full game is just as amazing and like you said, they do some improvements. Haven't seen the video in it's entirety, but gotta love the nostalgic feel of thw game. Though the npcs do look similar to how Sailor Moon (I mean just compare Celine to Annie Tsukino used to (and kinda gives me some sense of Howl inspiration as well 😅) graphic do look nice and do have potential!

Oh my god I had no idea you could swim LOL I played it trying to find pathways around the lake/rivers 😭 and also I ABSOLUTELY LOVE how cute our MC sprite is! It's like it's so small and not even as detailed graphic-wise as every other farming sim games but they made it so absolutely adorable for being so simple, I'm actually quite impressed coz I don't think that's easy to do seeing as there's so many farming sim games that have tried but I don't think they're as cute and simple as they've done with this.

I actually haven’t finished watching the whole video (halfway through) but it inspired me to get the demo. I was sooo surprised when I jumped in the water ✨ and you can swim to the little dark round things to get some clams and shellfish. Sooo excited for the full version - eek!

I will say the biggest downfall of stardew valley is the style of the animals and the character portraits. I'm sorry, but I feel like all the dudes are way more handsome when drawn in any other style but the default. Some of the ladies too. And the animals... The pigs literally scare me.
