There is no way that the vapor 13s are thinner than the 12s but offers a way better touch with the knit texture and the extra little grip they added. The 12s/superfly 6 do feel a little plasticky at first and the touch feels way too slippery on ball

The vapor is better but I like the feel of the dynamic fit collar. Even though you can’t feel it. I don’t know why I like it. It helps keep things out of your boots. I need to get the superfly 7 elite. I am still on 6 elite.
