paige has amazing technique and she is a VERY advanced dancer. The reason why she was labeled “a weak dancer” because she had little to no confidence, she was losing passion, like brooke because of abby. Paige is SO underrated, she definitely deserved way more recognition than she got.

she said she didn't want to dance and would rather do modelling so there was no passion. I mean she never protested when her dances were pulled. I think her mother constantly set her up to be told off; like changing the dance, hiring different choreographer pulling her from numbers because she didn't want her to do a new dance or dance in a particular costume, having her miss class without notice, not making her go to core classes, not sending her to rehab after an injury etc. Abbby did like her because she was allowed to criticise her- she is paid for that opinion- but she wouldn't let anyone else do it.

@@MsJubjubbird Paige has been very verbal that she did love dance and she wanted to do both modeling and dance. She wanted to be a rockette like Chloe when they were both little. Modeling was something that came to her later and she did say she wanted to do both in multiple occasions and when modeling came along paige had been at like a heightened part of induced anxiety from Abby. Paige also was 10-13 during her time on the show so she doesn't really have much of a day when her mother wants to pull a dance or won't let her go on stage she's not gonna fight her mother because she was raised to be a respectful child. Kelly has also said that the choreographer "she brought in" was hired by production after Abby told her that Kelly would need to hire a new choreographer if she wanted control over her costumes which she would get costumes that didn't fit her and Kelly has said she pulled dances due to the fear of the Double Take situation happening all over again to Paige. Kelly wanted to protect her daughter because of how production tried to set her up. Paige also wasn't taking core classes because by season 3 she was no longer a student of Abby's she was only there to film the show and due to contracts she wasn't allowed to take classes at another studio so she obviously wouldn't be able to keep up and that's why she stood at the same level instead of improving.

@@thefrug4755 She says she liked dance. And maybe it was fun when she was young, it's all a game, she was winning and she has stars in her eyes. But she didn't come to scheduled classes with her peers and she never complained when her mother pulled her dances nor did she practice at home. If she really liked dance she would be enrolled in class to get better and would be upset when she couldn't dance. Abby even asked her one competition if she was sure she wanted to pull the number and Paige said yes. Compare with Maddie, dare I mention her name, who was practising her routines over and over of her own accord and cried when her mother tried to pull her from classes or dances. Paige even said in one episode she wanted to do modelling and didn't like dance, but she kept going because her mother said modelling opportunities came from dance. I remember the hobbies I first did as a small child, which are of course picked by your parents, it takes a long time to realise you have found your own interests and that you don't love what you are meant to love- because you're in a habit of wanting to do it and you don't know anything else.

I think Paige is super underrated! She’s actually a great performer with her facial expressions and energetic moves. Maybe lyrical and all these soft dances are not really her style but she’d make a great cheerleader with that energy and lean body. Love her!

Abby LOVED Brooke before the show. She was one of her best dancers ever, hardworking, flexible, winning all titles, etc. So basically Paige was a Kenzie for Abby. Pretty, loads of potential and a successful big sister who set the example for her to follow
