Hi Corey, I wouldn't use such mat on the kitchen floor since it's slippery if you have tiles or hardwood floors. Those type of bathroom mats are basically like a towel thrown on the floor (that's how they started) not real rugs. I prefer Scandinavian rag rugs, they double as yoga mats if you need one! :-) Greetings from Finland from fellow minimalist

I wouldn’t put the mat in the kitchen but I have 3 year old and a cat 🤷‍♀️ I have a spare bath mat for when I am washing and drying one so potentially keep it for that.

This was posted months ago- but that bathroom mat is a no - any women coming by will be like “Why does he have an bathroom mat in the kitchen they are going to be like that is so gross - and they will begin to judge everything else. LOL - having a rug in the kitchen is possible problematic - you can slip on a rug and slipping in a kitchen is a hazard - keep it safe Corey.
