Brian, I can't believe you just did a review of a stick vacuum/mop thingie, BUT even more, I can't believe I watched the whole thing!!! What's the world coming to??? An engineer who can vacuum and mop??? Nice job, Brian.

That's what I thought. And then I thought...sometimes smart means less time spent. Also, awesome that you watched it Hugh. Thanks so much!

when you use just the suction mode, is it still dispensing water? How quickly does the floor dry (minutes)? Can you put hot water from tap into the machine? Does people hair get tangled on roller brush? What is the height of highest part when it is laying down flat to vacuum/mop? What is the manufacturer standard warranty if bought in the US? do we have to pay for that return shipping if after 30 day return policy?
@AutomateYourLife6 ай бұрын
Lots of this you can find out direct from Narwal or if you buy it on Amazon. Go check out the listing k? The usage questions though: 1. Suction Mode doesn't seem to put out water, but the roller is usually still wet. 2. 2-3 minutes TOPS. Usually faster. 3. Hot? No. Warm, sure. 4. I haven't seen any hair tangled at all, and I would.

Yeahhhh it's that good
@ovhome68416 ай бұрын
comparing the Narwal S10 Pro to the Tineco Floor One Stretch S6 would be a more fair comparison since all the features they each have are almost identical, including the laying flat feature, separating debris from the dirty water, and auto hot self cleaning & drying is much shorter than Narwal?

Hi Brian, nice video have been considering what to do for a backup vacuum having recently taken the plunge into a Robot Vac/Mop. I have kept my original old school vac to allow me to get into places where the Robot cannot go. I have been considering replacing this with a battery version similar to what you reviewed, but for me they are missing the target, as there is no option to attach a hose and vacuum where a large floor based unit cannot go without moving furniture. Also I think it stands to tall and should be able to reduce its height for easier stowaway storage (Telescopic or folding handle) Also I think its funny those kind of tests You tubers do with Vacs to test them. If I spill anything I generally wipe it up with a paper towel straight away and dont expect any device to be able to do the initial clean.
@AutomateYourLife7 ай бұрын
ahhahahaha, but...it's more exciting to put pasta sauce on the floor Gary. ;) There weren't many places the Narwal couldn't go. It was a little tall still being on the floor, so ya...a little hose would have been nice!

Great stuff, told me all I wanted to know not just the marketing fluff. Especially the debris separation and cleaning which a lot of the reviews just gloss over.

I’m confused. I expected to see a review of the SwitchBot S10, their new automated cleaning robot which vacuums, mops, and connects to your plumbing system so it can refill its own water. That is definitely amazing and can be automated. The product you reviewed is a fancy stick vacuum, which, OK, but not automated. Sure, I’m quadriparetic, so I need hands-free voice controlled, well, pretty much everything. Maybe I’m just seeing this through too narrow a lens. But I look forward to your eventual review of a truly automated cleaning machine, the S-10. I’m just starting to research this, and I value your always informative videos. At least the ones about products that would fit into my SmartHome.

I'm not sure it's a fair to biesel review. I mean this isn't apples to apples, the equivalent biesel device would be the crosswave pet pro, which is wireless, and has a separate compartment for debry.
@AutomateYourLife7 ай бұрын
This is the Pet Pro, but you're right there is a separate version! I didn't know it had a separate compartment. That's a good insight thanks
@shaygus7 ай бұрын
@AutomateYourLife Not sure it's the pro,or at least not the current model. I have the one model before the current, and it's wireless,the one in the video is wired.

Very interesting review Brian. One point though, voc's are not dangerous to the levels we e perience in life. Although some people are allergic to sone of them, perfumes for example, every single electronic in you home does emit some voc's by the continuous heatjng of components, plastics, screens,etc... I do consided the battle againsf voc's as just another gimmic of ecolonazis. You cant stop breathing or wear an oxygene mask everytime you go outside and get tons of voc's in your lungs ! For the rest well like everything in llife, just be cautious but not obsessed ! Anyway great review, I will seriously consider this item.
