I Thrifted an Antique From the 1800s for $4! Thrift With Me and My Mom at FOUR Stores!! ☺️💕

Those clear blue dishes are not depression era. I saw a name on the bottom but could read it. Gene Florence was a great collector and writer of books on different subjects. My mother had 1 of his depression glass books which she all but memorized. I still use it as a go too reference. Please find a copy and buy it. The depression actually lasted much longer than 1939, as my parents lived thru those years, and my grandparents. Oh yes, barware is very hot right now, and ice buckets have been on a upward swing in the selling markets. Geroge Breard is quite a hot brand bringing great money!!!!!

Thank you so much for the tip, I definitely need to learn more especially about glassware because glassware is one of my favorite things to collect and sell. I will look for the book and get a copy. I saw a gorgeous pink crystal ice bucket at an antique mall and almost bought it. First time seeing a clear glass ice bucket. ☺️
