Carl Frosh was a terrific boxer, and has a really interesting KZbin channel, and has said absolutely nothing wrong! AJ made some distasteful comments about not buying things from white businesses which would have been given way more attention if a white boxer said it about not buying from black owned businesses. Three of the people I enjoy listening to most on boxing, are Carl Frosh, Peter Fury and Adam Smith, and they don't always agree with each other, and I don't always agree, but that is life, surely?

I love listening to what Carl has to say but obviously if you’re a fighter that he criticises you’re going to have the hump. It’s not like football where the pundits will say “the defence were dreadful” when they’ve seen an individual make a cock up, but rather than name names they can sit on the fence. I can’t think of any ex-boxer pundit that has slagged off another boxer because it’s too personal and he’ll be hated forever by that boxer for saying so. I often wonder why ex boxers are asked their opinions on a current boxer because they never say what they really think if it’s in the negative. It gets personal when it’s suggested Joshua quit against Ruiz, he’s not a quitter. He was concussed from the first left hook and after that his brain was scrambled and he couldn’t defend himself, so the ref stopped the bout.

Let’s be honest everyone who knows boxing knows AJ was protected & fought mainly fighters at the end of their careers (wlad, povetkin, Pulev, takem, helenius) or fighters carrying injuries (Whyte/Usyk). Even Hearn admitted over paying Dillian Whyte to fight AJ because Whyte was injured (and he still nearly got him out in round 2). Anyone at their peak he’s stunk the place out (Parker &Ruiz 1&2)
