Planning a 24 Hour drive, solo, from Florida to South Dakota in September to see my dad. I haven’t seen him in 22 years. Staying there six days then driving 24 hours back, solo. Going to find a place mid way to sleep a few hours plus bringing snacks, caffeine, food, and a solid playlist. Nervous and excited at the same time. I love road trips!

Ann Arbor, Michigan to Perry Georgia start out with at least 5 hours of sleep, stay hydrated, avoid sugar,stop as often as you need for walk around, jumping jacks or stretches, 20 minute power naps or 90 minute complete sleep cycle. Definitely drive through Atlanta at the wee hours, 2-3 am to avoid punishing grid lock.

I’m on a trip from hot springs Arkansas to Cincinnati to pick up my home slice. Am currently in the middle of butt fuck nowhere Tennessee parked next some good o boys in their semis. Good rest plenty of water, some snacks with protein and maybe caffeine. Definitely a good playlist with the windows down. Fun times. Good luck everyone 🍀

I took trip from Colorado up to Michigan to the Canadian border then down to Arkansas and then back to Colorado bring a nice big blanket and 2 pillows put 1 one your arm rest then 1 on your left side or where the door is for you Europeans, then put the blanket behind you and around you to cover the pillows and hold them. And then you have a more relaxed comfortable drive and you can lean in different positions and to act as bolsters so cornering does shoot you off to the side.

@@qaecobitv2295 wow! I totally forgot about this comment. I'm back in Florida now haha! It was a great time driving there and back. We did a total of 5 days of driving averaging about 10 hours a day. We ended up paying about $1100 in hotel fees and $500 for gas. We went all the way up to South Dakota and then went directly west to Seattle. On the way back to Florida we went south to New Mexico and through the southern part of the country. Beautiful drive both ways! The hoover dam and Grand Canyon is a must.
@robertsamson670 Жыл бұрын
@@qaecobitv2295 as for tips I would say to MAKE SURE you reserve a hotel the day before or it will screw you over lol. We drove around vegas for two hours trying to find a hotel because we didn't reserve one and ended up staying at a super sketchy motel. And make sure your car is ready to go that far.
