Austin, if you really want decent lighting, do what you did here with the white drape. Pull it taught though. You'll need 4 LED film lights that can either do multi-color or put gels on them. 2 Lights will go below and "splash" up & against the the white. Those ones can be the fun "bisexual lighting" your purple greens and blues. The two others will be your primary "key" and "fill" light and expose y'all and reduce some of the shadows. You will want these on mid-high range power more towards the "warmer" setting than the "cool" settings. If you want to get real fancy (but it will look the best) is to get an incandescent light that you can put on a stand for top lighting which will reduce almost of the ugly shadows. As for audio, 1-2 boom shotgun mics on a boom and stand would probably be a lot better than lavs. Legit hope this is useful. I know you got a lot of notes on the show, but it really doesn't take much to make it THAT MUCH better 💞!
