Keep it up. I felt your energy dropped a bit in the last match. It’s tough to maintain a high level going in deep in a tournament. Your opponent looked a bit more fresh and that was the difference. Perhaps do some work to help improve stamina and eat better. Anyways love watching you play! Good luck!

Solid play Amy. It wouldn't surprise me if you were a bit tired after the nearly 4 hour match then going into the semi. A few observations; your net play looks a little hesitant. And because of that, it seems like you're a bit reluctant to come to the net. If you rewatch these highlights, you'll see opportunities to come to the net after some solid groundstrokes, and which elicited weaker replies, which could have been put away with volleys. I think you would really benefit from playing more doubles. I can see you play a little bit, but for me, your net game isnt as strong as your back court game, and that translates into hesitancy to come forward and close out points.

Another deep run for the books, and a 4 hr three setter to boot - great way to wind down the year! Great job crushing the tie break in that second match and closing it out esp after losing the second set. Keep building that mental power! Your drop shots were nasty and that deep/short mix was working really well!

That gal in the match you lost looked a lot more athletic than your other opponents. She really tracked down a lot of balls which put pressure on you. I can see why you would be disappointed, however. It sure seemed like that first set was yours.... I really like how you not only show your good points, but good points from your opponents, too! And even some points where you just screwed up... I enjoy watching your videos!

Traveling solo how hard is it to find hitting partners to practice specific shots with? It is a matter of being social and asking them and taking turns or just general hitting practice? Im guessing you don’t travel with a ball machine?

Yea too tough to travel with a ball machine. Usually practice during tournament if you don’t have a coach is very general. A lot of down the middle and then cross and then go into points. This is why it’s very beneficial to have a coach or someone on the road
