Well, if that new tire cost you 200, then the other three must be worth about 600ish. Plus the 500 for the rear end, plus all the parts, plus scrap price...I'm betting you come out further ahead than you are thinking. I bet there is a good amount of fuel in the tank still you could dump into one of your daily drivers. That stuff isn't cheap after all.

Yeah it'll all work out, I actually may end up using the rear end in another project, got $135 for scrap of the leftovers, the tires I have something in mind for also. But I figure even if I use the tires and use the rear end, it saved me more than $500 in parts I would have had to buy so it's still a win to me! I forgot about the gas, drained about 25 gallons out of it so there's another $80 ish I got back. It always works out
