Yea like they were extras in a movie but never got to see the script 🤣 They would just walk to an area of the park and stand there then walk to the other corner of the park and stand there, then just leave. I saw like 10 people do that while I was there 😂😂

I hunt mainly parks but today went to the beach. I know it’s slow time for the beaches but I always find much more jewelry and coins at the parks. It’s a lot of work but pretty rewarding. I’m hoping the warm weather brings out the treasures everywhere. Keep up the humorous videos. I really enjoy them.😊

Totally agree on your statement that the machine should do what Minelab says it should do. Page 39 of the instructions "A higher iron bias is recommended for rejecting crown bottle caps". Nope, not even close...mine doesn't reject anything. They had it right on the 800 but ruined it on the 900. It's so unfortunate because it could be a great machine if they could get that right.

Manticore is a dig everything machine. Sad last gold i found was a surface find. The Manticore didnt register it untill i cranked it up and pushed the horse shoe button. Just so ya know

That’s how the 900 is too. Almost all the gold I’ve found on it has been in the negatives. Can’t hunt the beach without being on All Metal Mode. But then you waste a ton of time digging iron because it sounds just like gold/nickels/etc. And if the beach is full of black sand you get a constant iron grunt in your headphones for the entire hunt. I’m more impressed with the X-Terra Pro at the beach than the Equinox to be honest 🤣

I was detectoring in a park years ago when a Karen called the police on me,one I was at least 50 yards from them,but it was good,the cop came up and said you can't detect here ,I said why,he said because you can't in a city park,I said good to know,how bout you let me show you something, we walked ten yards to a sign that said Texas state park and recreations,I said did yall buy this,nope,good day then,so then I moved a lot closer, unplugged my headphones, turned up the volume and carried on

As you know, I'm much closer to the ground than you are. So bending down is easier. But I have to be careful not to tip over due to my oversized head. 🤪 Beware of 'landmines' in sandy dog parks. 🐶

Yea the city of Monterey doesn’t allow digging in “manicured grass or cultivated areas”. I understand sports fields but just regular grass is kinda ridiculous. You can go to the next towns over and hunt with no issues though. There’s not really any events the go on here unfortunately. But there’s a park nearby that has a farmers market on the grass every week, I need to check there.

I think the 800 is better. More dependable VDI and less iron falsing. The only I improvement with the 900 is the build quality (i.e. coil ears, leaking issues, etc.)

Daniel, where is the Deus hiding? Not used to you using the 900. Beach is where the bucks are when it comes to jewelry. End of summer and fall I guess is when the beaches get replenished. I’m sure California will come up with a law against beach hunting like they threaten us in San Francisco.
