I've been running these for 3 years .. no problems .. however, the horseshoe clip on the cleat goes only one way .. so if it's not clicking in u have to turn it the other way round

Long term cheeseplays become wobbly/more instable than they already are because the cleats will wear down the axles. Cost relative they were still worth it. I went through 2 pairs in 2 years. Now I gone back to shimano type copies riro pedals with titanium axles at 218gr still testing done around 1000 miles.

Great video! After using SPD and SL for 20 years, I switched to these 5 years ago and have been using the titanium ones on both my road and gravel bikes ever since. Happy to confirm that they perform brilliantly and I haven't needed to do any servicing, other than cleaning, in all that time. I use the cleat covers on all my shoes and they're really sturdy/resilient, as well as being slip-proof. Highly recommended if you fancy a change from the norm.

Purchased similar via ali express, and in short time saw portions of the pedals start to corrode. Anyway decided to go back to SPD SL because I find the small screws on the speed play cleats finnicky (Original and Fake)

If you like em, you like em. But, to me they've always looked like MTB pedals impersonating road pedals. Which begs the question ... why not just ride SPDs with 2-bolt cleats? Wouldn't they offer much the same support. Plus, you can walk in them at the cafe! What do you reckon? Cheers

I think it's one of those where having had knee pain in the past, where starting with Speedplays either solved it or was part of the solution, I'm a bit nervous about going with something different and the pain coming back. FWIW, I have SPDs on my hybrid and the lack of float (at least with that setup - dunno if things have changed) did seem to cause a bit of knee soreness.

You can't go wrong with Ali express knock offs ,most of the time it's well worth it , the bike industry is a rip off but most of my cycling accessories I buy from Ali express now
