You actually weren't exactly flying on Malaysia Airlines. You were flying on Amal by MH. Malaysia Airlines' pilgrimage arm solely operating flights into Saudi Arabia. The service onboard is catered to muslim passengers, with no alcohol etc. The crew also wear a different uniform compared to mainline MH. This is a subdivision of MH and the product offering is a step below mainline MH. I'd suggest you try their mainline flights for a true taste of the MH experience. Nonetheless nice video.

Oh I did not realize that. Thank you for the clarification! I actually thought this flight was quite good other than the food. The service was great and the flight was comfortable. This give me high hopes for the other Malaysia Airlines flights!

I took economy with MAS from jeddah for umrah...yes..the food from jeddah is very bad...but from KL to Medina is very good...i think its because the kitchen in jeddah 😊

I agree with you! Catering from Jeddah or Medina is so bad! Prior to this, I had flown with Saudi Arabia, Malaysia Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, Qatar, and Emirates from Saudi Arabia, all of which had extremely poor catering services. I do not backup Malaysia Airlines or anyone else, but this is my honest review since I have flown out of Saudi Arabia for almost 10 years.

⁠From a retired U.S. Airline captain, MH lost 2 Boeing 777 aircraft in a very short period of time, and at no fault of the airline. One of the flights was possibly due to sabotage by a rogue pilot, with the wreckage never found. The other aircraft flying from Amsterdam to KUL was shot down by Russian backed forces. This airline suffered greatly from these tragedies, however they have survived. I have had a few flights on MH, and have had very pleasant experiences on each journey. They are not considered a 5 star airline, but that doesn’t mean they are less safe than Japan Airlines, for purposes of comparison. I also love flying on JAL or ANA, but they charge quite a bit more. Suggest you compare Tokyo NRT - Kuala Lumpur KUL, in Business class or Economy. Mohamed, hope to watch more of your videos. New subscriber to your channel.

Its one of the few airline in the world that is still profitable today and have some of the best inflight service in the world. Better than ALL thr US airlines and most of the Middle East ones. I hope that it translated right. How was I complaining too much about the food? I spent $1000 on a one way ticket and I expect the food to be at least edible. Most of this food I wouldn't even give out for free. Also what's the comment about being an Arab guy? When did I ever say that Indonesian or Malaysian food sucks all I said was the food on this plane sucks.

I had Malaysian food in Malaysia and it was very good, the food on the plane was terrible because it was cold and hard. HELLO!! Before the 2 incidents involving Malaysia Airlines in year 2014, have you ever heard about Malaysia Airlines crash?? Never right? That is because prior to 2014, the last accident involving Malaysia Airlines was back in year 1995.. you see, there was a huge gap between 1995 and 2014 which means Malaysia Airlines was very safe carrier.. other airlines such as British Airways, Air France, United Airlines, American Airlines, even some famous Asian carriers such as Japan Airlines, China Airlines and Korean Air had more crashes than Malaysia Airlines if you did not aware..
