You defo need to include Leo in more videos Tim. The gas struts Tim could be down to the panel you had added to underside of the hatch being to heavy for the struts. I remember my vectra had to have the struts changed due to the boot spoiler being fitted and the originals weren't suited for the extra weight.

One easy way to clean a garage/ workshop floor wich is full of oil spills is to pour water and degreaser on the floor. Then you use a slighty "agressive" broom - the kind you use on asphalt to remove sand and stuff like that.. wait.. I found the english name; A Piast broom or similar. Now, attack the whole floor with water, degreaser and broom the hard dirty spots. And then what? How to get rid of all the dirty water?? The trick is sawdust with good absortion capability and a different broom. Throw out the sawdust with a shovel over the dirty water, wait 5-10 min. Then start brooming up the sawdust with a big broom for indoor use. If it's still to wet.. add more sawdust. And voila... a clean floor without walking on all four and mess up your knees. Only issue then is where to throw the dirty sawdust. Just check what kind of degreaser you can use so it doesn't destroy the floor paint even more than it is, unless you're planning to repaint the floor.
