Thank you everyone for your nice comments, they really mean a lot to me. I have loved doing this series with Blondie and Blondies mum and look forward to series 2 in China. BlondieinChina has always promoted positivity and tolerance, love and friendship. It’s been a real honour to be a small part of that. And of course the food has been delicious as well!! I miss my Blondie already 🥲

You’re all amazing ambassadors for your country,. Hope I can some day check out some of those culinary delights if I ever manage to get down under. Best wishes

I am surprised that Amy and her parents did not know about abalone. Australian abalones are highly regarded in other parts of the world. Until recently (before abalone aqua-farming), Australia, especially Tasmania, produced about 25% of world production. Recreational abalone fishing/diving is still popular in Tasmania. Today, Yumbah Aquaculture is the largest abalone producer in the Southern Hemisphere. BTW, abalone is called Paua by the Maoris in New Zealand. Paua shell jewelry is very popular in NZ.

I was gonna say that 79cents for one bite of food is really expensive since Canadian dollars are at almost at a 1:1 ratio with Australian. But turns out your guy's min wage is so much higher! 😂 Ours is $14 and you guys are almost at $20 and $119 is pretty reasonable for 4 people lol. And it is so bittersweet that you guys are separating. Glad you guys will be doing your own things but sad that we won't see your parents for a while! Your parents are so cute together. They make a lovely combo. Dad's kinda silly (in the best way possible) and and mom is super refined and open minded. Love your family! Love your videos with your family! Your mom is such a cool chick, never afraid to try anything. She's someone I'd want to be friends with. Your dad is super adorable, in looks and in personality. Proud that he went from feeling queasy about trying the "non-safe" foods to voluntarily choosing to eat chicken feet and intestines. Your sister is chill. Maybe that comes from being a vegan? (j/k). And you are awesome! Love your adventurousness, optimism, and humor. As a Chinese who moved abroad at a young age, I learned a lot about Chinese cuisine from your videos and will try some of the dishes when i visit China again. (And i learned that i can actually buy instant luosifen (something i'd always wanted to try) from the local grocery store.)
