I ended an 11 year marriage that never really worked in September 2023. I'm selling my house, getting an office/ KZbin studio in March 2025 and going full nomad with my cat. At 47 I am now semi retired (= don't have to work 75hrs a week to barely pay bills and have free time for my projects, my health, and travel) and finally back on KZbin after a forced 18 month hiatus ❤❤❤ 2025 is going to ROCK🎉🎉🎉

Not to sound dramatic or anything but, I remember watching your videos all of August as I was interviewing for a role in NYC. It was one of the numbered vlogs but I forget which one. As I remember watching it, I got this sudden feeling that change was coming soon and it almost felt like your move to NYC vlogs were about to become my reality lol! Yes this is challenging, but at the same time, you have the FINANCES to move to a new city. Most normal people don't have that luxury anymore because of how insanely bad the economy is. I would be inspired if I could actually get an interview back for a job that ACTUALLY paid enough to live in a city like chicago. This is a very privileged thing to post. It's not that easy to just pick up for most people especially in this economy. BUT on the positive end, it is inspiring and maybe I'll rethink what I want to do with my life. Because maybe practical and boring is the job I am destined to have for the rest of my life.

Same. I like her videos. But this isn't necessarily "risky" or inspiring because she is very privileged and didn't have to struggle at all to move. I mean it's great that she has a job that let her transfer, that's very lucky, many people don't have well paying jobs or any jobs at all. She prob gets paid $100K with a bs degree (literally bs) again because of her white privilege. Inspirational is the story of people moving to a new country, starting from zero, having no family or friends nearby, learning a new language, and seeking a better life for their families. I don't find inspiration in this it doesn't seem that she's had to struggle much with what she has, she had a breakup and decided to move to another city where she already has connections and a cushy job..woe is me, lol. Seriously, needs perspective

@@ella_sabrina I strongly agree with you. But at the same time, not all white americans are privileged. But at the end of the day, we are more privileged than BIPOC and that's not okay. The only stressful thing about her move is not knowing anyone and that is a very normal thing to feel. I make $29k a year and that sadly is as much as I have EVER made. I have two degrees and I can't find a better paying job to save my life. It's frustrating watching people like her because like I said it's not this easy for people to just drop everything and move. Especially in this economy. Video is very distasteful. Especially with her now living in New York City in a bigger apartment than most people could afford.
