Being born in Europe is such a privilege, when he said “go on skyscanner and just go anywhere that’s cheap” I opened and the cheapest flight out of Brasil is ONE FULL MONTH OF PAY AT A MINIMUM WAGE JOB. It literally feels like a prison that only the rich can leave

Agreed. I’m from the US, and while there is decent access for semi-budget flights abroad, everything is so far away and there isn’t a culture of taking a lot of time off to travel - it’s looked down upon as not being serious about your work. I feel like the sitting and waiting for the boarding queue to end is either a mark of an experienced traveller or a really chill person. Most people are super excited to go on holiday or if you travel a lot for business I feel like “high power” people feel like they need to be the first on because it somehow proves something business wise? Idk, it’s a personality thing.

Just found the channel and its a great video. Paphos was quiet because it was off season. I was there in Aug-Sep and it's very lively with tourists at that time. Down by the Harbour is very touristy, so traditional dishes (other than Souvlaki), are not really common in that area from experience. Could have got your pizza fix at a great restaurant out by the mall though, worth a visit if you're back in town!

Neat idea, I've tried something similiar but with a bit more organization and planning - looked for cheap flights from Wrocław, then from the next place, and so on, but i've stayed a couple days in each of them. Ended going to Rome, Barcelona and Venice in 10~ days before coming back. Would highly recommend, it's fairly cheap way to travel if you can pack everything you need into a carry-on backpack. If you have the guts to stay in hostels it's gonna be pracically a steal.

It feels totally different if you're going on a trip like this alone without any online community to talk with. And it's also not guaranteed that you'll meet people there and make friends. But if you're walking around while talking into your camera it makes you more attractive for people I guess (:

When Jenn was young, her dad was a pilot and she could fly for free. She would take a red eye every night so that she didn’t have to pay food or lodging. Your 10 pound flights look like an easier option! New subs here - fun to see where you’re headed.
