Talaria just dropped a new controller on their Sting R. It's 10% more than the old sting R controller. It can be identified by the new inscribed title STING R. The older version was titled TALARIA. That said, for the year 2025 Talaria is reclaiming its spot at the top of the hill. But to be honest, how can you even compare a Jack-Shaft to a Gear-Box and be honest with yourself?
@UncleDruncles6 ай бұрын
I have to disagree. The wife and I were both looking recently to get into emotos and were looking at all these bikes real hard. The Talaria’s have a better suspension setup, the gearbox is a more rugged design than the belt/jackshaft, better aftermarket for talarias… lower price point…etc We bought a couple Sting-R’s
@shockadellick6 ай бұрын
@@UncleDruncles Also recently discovered the e-Ride has a nervous head. The future of all current e-motos are Gear Box. Toting an extra Belt and tools isn't the ideal ride on the trail for those with a good functioning brain.

Do you notice a clang or clank in the rear motor of your wired freedom in the first few feet at the beginning of every ride once it’s been powered on? I am noticing this now and wonder if it’s just because I roll it backward first sometimes to get it out of my garage?

The bike is great… If you’re going to be doing any amount of speed I would definitely mod the braking system. And if you’re gonna go off road, which I don’t think you will… Get a guard for your rotors. Other than that any other modification or for the kids. Maybe get a bag To sit above the gas tank area That would hold a charger if you plan on taking it to work and want to charge it there.
@shootthechit6 ай бұрын
What would you mod with the brakes? They feel pretty good to me
@marsiloficino50606 ай бұрын
Hey big dog! Yes they are good and the standard for dirt bikes. Good for now, but they will break down prematurely with the high torque. Remember it is designed as a dirt bike and track use. Hills, everyday use, and higher speeds will continue to devolve the condition of the brakes. Newer more powerful brakes will not only improve the ride but stopping power as well. Expensive to upgrade, but like a good helmet- your paying for safety.

Grab some Shinko 241 tires (all-terrain). MUCH SMOOTHER ride. Yeah- a brake upgrade if you have any hills or like to haul ass and stop.
