Beautiful ride bro! I'm from Oakland. I went to Pinole Valley High School. I did a lot of "acoustic" cycling as a teenager. I moved to the PHX area in 93 and stayed. I now have a carbon fiber Fuji and an Aventon ebike. Been looking at this Ecells bike for a while but still haven't pulled the trigger because of the weight. Tell me about that and also how you can stay in Cali with a Gavin Newscum theme environment!?

It was really weird, there was a bike lane then it routed off the road to some switch backs, then back to the road. It was quite confusing

Thanks for the memories. Ive driven over that bridge a few times in High school I took my friends from Hoopa to Bezerkly "comic" book shops [yup someones a nerd in this car] ;) Orinda! Walnut creek, Spitzburg, antioch - been there a few times too have friends n relatives in that area. Its a lot different than is was in the 80's - I do miss the good ole days on telegraph ave - oh well and Jeff is in the Eureka area the last time I heard of him.

Very Funny vid. I was soo expecting you to have peddle strike with the 24" Step Star. I think that bike should be a big hit with the older folks that cant swing a leg over and need to step through.

Yes, you have to keep it there whenever you want power. If you are coasting you don't have to have it there.

Awesome ride! I'm in Fresno and used to come up to San Fran before the craziness. ( Don't like getting human poo in my fat tire treads. ) I would not ride that route alone, but on a group ride with the formidable leader of the Chitheads, I'd feel a little safer!

That is one great ride from San Francisco to Antioch. And it wasn't all street. You took a bunch of off-road trails. Amazing. Looks like you did Power Level 3 all the way. Can you post a link to your route? I don't think I have the courage to try it, but wanted to see specific streets and trails you took.

California is surprisingly tolerant on the e-motos in most areas. That outdoor shopping area we rode through was the target of a massive shash and grab recently. There was like 100 people running around going nuts

@@shootthechitI was there Sunday. I think the Step Star is more accessible to tall people as well as short people. I’m as tall as Gator and although I could get off the standard one dismounting the Step star was certainly easier.
