Great trip. Bit unusual, because even though the Ferry crossing fare is included in your ticket bus, but you need to check in for boarding the Ferry.
@BalticTraveller Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Totally agree, that's why I tried to include soome information how to do it, because it can be confusing.
@Ducati3684 ай бұрын
They should simplify the process and allow the passengers to enter the ferry by using the Flixbus tickets

Hey I was wondering what about the luggage? Do we need to take out our luggage before the boarding on ferry at Helsinki? Or will it be in our bus only as the bus will be the same or new bus will arrive from Tallinn? Please clarify.
@BalticTravellerАй бұрын
Hey, you don't need to take luggage with you, the bus will be the same

Hi! The toilet not working on a flexibus is my biggest fear, do you remember if the stops you made along the way allowed for okay timing to visit the bathroom?
@BalticTraveller5 ай бұрын
Hi, yeah, unfortunately, the issues with toilet could happen in any bus, on this specific route I took, there were no long stops for a bathroom, except the part in Helsinki, when you have plenty of time before the ferry and few hours on the ferry itself.

I booked this ticket but I haven't received any email with the ferrry booking details. I just have the flixbus ticket with me. Was it the same for you?

At first I thought there is a bridge connecting Helsinki and Tallinn. But it is actually we have to transit to the ferry and take the Flixbus again. May I know if I bought the Flixbus tickets. It is included the ferry ticket? Your video shown that u still have to scan the barcode of the Flixbus tickets in order to generate the ferry tickets right?
@BalticTraveller3 ай бұрын
Hello, the ferry ticket is included, and you will receive a confirmation from the ferry company separately by e-mail. You will need to get a boarding pass in the ferry terminal, which you can easily get in self-service check-in's with the details that ferry company will send you via e-mail

Hi, I've received my ferry ticket 2 days before the departure by e-mail, and yes, there is a free Wi-Fi onboard, but please keep in mind that in the middle of the sea internet connection can be quite slow. Enjoy the trip!

Hi! You can simply save the ticket on your phone, and you should be able to check-in with the QR code on it or by reservation number and security code, which can be found on the same ticket.

Is the ferry ticket included in all trips from fin to baltics or do you have to pay for the ferry on some trips?
@BalticTraveller8 ай бұрын
Hi, Flixbus route which goes from Finland to Baltics and further to Warsaw includes the ferry ticket, so you don't have to pay extra for it
@ThomasCoryate7 ай бұрын
Beware of Flixbus. They are a de-centralised operation in which drivers own and operate their own vehicles. In my experience there is poor to rude customer service when things go wrong, and service levels vary considerably. Operators know exactly the law of refunds in their respective countries and are sometimes unscrupulous in what they tell passengers. Flixbus is cheap but you are playing with the law of averages - one day you'll be treated badly and have very little recourse to compensation.
