The major order isn't happening. Never was, really. 2 billion would mean that 150,000 players would have to kill 13,000+ each. There haven't been more than 2/3 of the players online even fighting bots and with the low player count these days it was just too steep of a hill.

I'm not. The last time they did a big rebalance update, they basically ruined 70% of the weapons. Quasar became garbage, Eruptor became garbage, Railgun got a buff but is still D tier at best, Dominator became garbage, Scorcher became garbage. I'm just tired, man. This game started off with so much wonderful potential and it's been completely squandered by a dev team that's constantly at war with its own community. Player count dipped to 60k today.

It's actually one of the better ARs because its got 0 recoil. Going from 15 to 10 doesn't seem like much but it's actually very significant for headshot TTK. It's like if a sickle had more damage per shot but less ammo per mag. Still worse than a Sickle though XD.

Imagine the average player, or someone who isn't as good as you, and they used to struggle with level 4 and 5 missions. If you're struggling with something you ordinarily could solo, imagine how the average player feels. The combination of the adjusted spawn rate and the nerfs to people's favorite guns, and it's a recipe for frustration to the average player who isn't as skilled as you. Is it any wonder the current major order is projected to fail?

It’s not even a skill issue. The new player experience goes from tutorial to trivial to easy to klendathu/judgement-day. The spawns are actually WORSE at low levels because good luck killing packs of 12 hunters spawning behind your camera (there’s still a bias for off-camera spawns tho not having it happen literally under the player camera is a helpful if entrapping change) or non stop patrols and breached with a newb-gear, even if you have the AoE you won’t have the cool-down boosts or extra stratagem options/comfort to feel anything but constant pressure from 15 seconds into a drop t the 43rd minute. Devs turned the new player difficulty curve into Vietnam on crack.

Kind of relieved to see that others are also struggling with the new patrol settings. Just played on LVL 4 the other day and that was already mayhem at the extraction. I already had killed 40 or so bots with airstrikes and still they send in five more gatling devestators, a couple of normal ones and a punch of soldier bots. At that point I was completely surrounded and died another two times until I managed to land a bit outside the zone and dropped another airstrike on the bunch. I don't mind these kinds of scenarios on lvl 6 and 7. But I play lvl 3 - 4 just to relax a bit and have fun. THIS is just tedious.

The problem isn’t the Tenderiser is bad - it CAN hold it own. The problem is that the Liberator exists and it’s the first gun you get with more ammo and higher DPS. I just don’t get how they can release a Liberator copy cat. They could’ve done so many interesting things with the Tenderiser like give it double limb damage so it can shoot bugs legs and Bot Arms / weapons very easily.

Personally, i’d love to see it get a sizeable dmg buff, but fire rate nerf, make it a slow(er) fire rate, maybe like 450-500 rpm high caliber medium penetrating ar, as for ars as a whole, they should get over penetration, it would differentiate them from smgs in a way that makes physical sense, and smgs as a whole should get more ammo on average than any ar given their rounds and magazines are smaller thus lighter and easier to carry. Edit- my thought process behind the fire rate nerf is, if it solely gets a dmg bump, then its another liberator clone but with slightly more dmg, instead of just tweaking numbers they need to play towards unique feel to each weapon in the same class. Case and point the dmr vs the sniper, give the sniper no or negligible recoil when prone, make it play like a sniper, give it a integrated flash hider or suppressor so if you go the sniper route against bots you dont set off a base 300 meters away and have a rave’s worth of lasers headed towards your head.

I recently purchased the war bond because I spent all my super credits on store armors and I didn't have it in me to grind all the way back up and lose out on the medals too. The Tenderizer is just so underwhelming as all the ARs do. I hope that Arrowhead can resolve the issue of balance.

I was playing on 4 player on a difficulty 4 mission and i gotta say that there’s a lot more going on than just the patrols. The game went crazy and spawned an army of jet pack guys and it was extremely frustrating. I didn’t even encounter as many on difficulty 7

You could get the small base near extract if you get out of range just as the pelican is flying in to land. It'll hover indefinitely and blast enemies with its autocannon, waiting for you to get back to the drop.

@@IRMentat I've been running with the purifier, and it isn't nearly as terrible as people make it out to be (provided you are fighting bots). While the fire rate is low, the stagger is high, and you have a large magazine size. If you ever mag dump into a devastator with the scorcher, you are really only doing damage with the splash (the splash has medium armor pen, the projectile does not); the Purifier has 50% more splash damage, while having the same magazine size and a huge amount of AoE stagger. Been able to provide relief from range for several teammates that I saw getting pinned down by heavy devastators. If you get used to the drop, the puni-plas can do the similar but at the cost of over half your magazine. The weapon needs a buff, but it surprisingly isn't nearly as bad as everyone claims it is.

The important thing with flame thrower hulks is that you let them swipe the flamethrower over you and to dodge in the opposite direction or away just after or when the flame hits. If you dive in the direction of the swipe the flame tracks you and you get cooked. If you dive early you risk being lit on fire while being on the ground, which gets you cooked. Dodge towards him and you risk being turned to minced meat by the sawblade. Finally if you end up on the turning point of the flame it also stays on you and grills you quickly, like at the end of the mission.

I played 3 missions today on trivial for the Daily Mission. First mission I fired 1 (one) shot and 1 strat. Second mission had a couple of patrolsm but nothing at extraction at all. Third mission I had numerous patrols and when I got to extraction, it was nonstop patrols. I died 3 times just trying to extract. When I was coming back in a drop pod, the landing area around the extraction boat and the area around it was COVERED in bots!! Now, I am not a very good player, but before the patrol changes, I could do the occasional a Challenging mission. Now I have a hard time on Easy! With the missions all being the same and only 2 enemies, I am quickly becoming bored.

All the tenderizer needs is 10-15 more damage and some more pen. Then lower it's fire rate to make it worse against hordes of small enemies so then the liberator is better in that situation. This also has the effect of making each of your mags last longer which will make it feel like you have to reload less. Liberator penetrator needs a lot of help as well. If they want it to keep the low damage, they need to give it a much larger mag size and high full auto fire rate. That way it would still deal less damage to 0 armor enemies allowing the base liberator to perform better, but it would be able to deal with armored enemies more effectively while still having the full auto feel. So it would feel like the ajudicator but less damage and much much higher mag size.

I soloed my first bots helldive the other day. I was on track to doing bugs, but I ran out of irl time lol. -Bots I used diligence CS, verdict, 500, airstrike, gas, impact nades, and autocannon -Bugs I had breaker incendiary, senator, 500, cluster, flamethrower, shield backpack, incendiary impact It's crazy bc nowadays I believe bugs are harder. I don't even think that's a hot take anymore.

It’s got 25 more ammo than the liberator and less recoil. The devs just don’t seem to take recent patches into account when releasing new weapons. Lib got buffed just before it was released. So does the same damage damage per hit with 50% more in the mag on a higher RoF.

Thank god for that armor. Same I use. Insane that whole thing cost like 600 SC but its my fav looking and best to use imo. Insane perks. I hope they bring the gun up to par along with plenty others. Theres two relatively old bugs you seem to have been experiencing. 1) the second that rando joined and left, it broke your room patrol rate. This is pretty universal. Anytime you have someone join and leave and you continue to the rates will forever be broken/maxed out. This continues regardless if the game ends. With my friend group we tend to have the host restart their game altogether and it seems to keep the insano drop rate 2) infinite agro range. This is super niche and I experienced once upon a time due to my focusrite recording interface configuration. I had one other person confirm this but basically if you have a recording interface for a mic - and it has multiple inputs. it seems to trigger something with infinite agro range. I noticed you had it immediately because of where some of the bot drops were spawning in. This particular bug I fixed by changing my windows input sound "format" configuration for the interface to downmix it to 1 or 2 channels (I have the 8 preamp 18i20). When I had it with the full 8 inputs setup in "inputs settings -> format" the bug was super noticeable, almost unplayable. I cannot confirm nor deny this but it definitely seem to trigger with the audio interface setup (I would A/B it with totally different components). My agro range was bad enough when bot drops would call in on the horizon AND they would track only ME down in a duo match from across the map...this was a couple months ago so its a really old bug. And I dont even know what REALLY causes it. I haven't had an issue since i changed my audio config...

just wanna say, it seems like a lot of the shooter video games, devs dont give 2 rats to learn some firearms knowledge and design their guns similar to the purposes of the firearms in the real world. or, crazy idea, to hire a few experts on that subject. and don't get me started on ammunition types. imho they should do away with armor pen and should give you ammo types to facilitate "armor pen" similar to the difference of FMJ and hollow point ammunition. it won't happen, but at least i can comment and support ThiccFilA Edit: Lately it seems like this game has been balancing on the razor's edge. In all the years of gaming on pc I've been apart of, I was shocked and stunned to see how nerf happy AH went. In a PvE game to beat it all. It genuinely leads me to believe they're either 1) Not playing on 6 difficulty or higher and testing those weapons or B) EVerything was spotless and clean and they're just making spills/creating messes just to have something to clean up. @@thiccfila Correct. They spawn out of thin air much of the time. It makes it really frustrating to clear and area, set up a perimeter, and have them just spawn on top of you. The game currently breaks all the rules to be arbitrarily more difficult.

Clearing out all the bases increases patrol spawns a bit (I think 20%-ish), but it forces them to spawn at the closest edge of the map. You'll encounter them less quickly while traveling in the middle of the map, and you can cheese them not to spawn at all by sitting near the edge.

I feel that the only viable primary weapon against bots is the 500kg and then the laser, but most times this is not even close to enough. at least on level 8 and 9 I don't even care to bring weapons anymore, I just throw all my orbitals and move to the next base, extractions are almost impossible now unless the rest of the team also used their brain and can lauch 1 500kg every ten seconds.

Many people seem to think that adding more magazine size to most weapons is the way to go... No, that's stupid. Bullets need to do more instead. Either all AR weapons get more damage so each bullet count a lot more, or enemies have less HP. Your average enemy is way too spongy as of now

Meh, just use sickle and airburst rocket launcher. You will kill devastators for days 😎 I was pushing 300 kill counts on bots yesterday with sickle, the grenade pistol, stun grenades, airburst rocket launcher, 500kg, precision strike, 110mm rockets, knocked out 4 or 5 factory striders between stratagem use and airburst under the belly. Just uh make dam sure the area is clear and don't go to fire an airburst and get surprised by more enemies around the corner from behind a wall...might blow yourself to pieces, lmao

Give it medium armor pen, and good damage. DO IT. Make it one shot devastators, but balance it with no stagger. Like a harder hitting sickle, with less ammo economy. It would be balanced trust. How is making a FULL SIZED weapon a direct downgrade of the pummeler good? The pummeled is already doing what we’re talking about, just with the concussive feature added! And even then it’s NOWHERE near as good as the plasma punisher, which requires little to no accuracy to be devastatingly effective. Imo the fact that this gun has no aoe, no explosive damage, and full size means they should buff the daylights out of it. Make a powerful AR dammit!

Doesn't need anymore ammo. You currently use a mag clearing out a single patrol. With a damage buff, you'd use even less, so it's redundant to extend the mags.

See the difference is between weapons being *usable* vs *fun to use* Yeah I can *use* the standard punisher shotgun, but it isn't fun to use. The only outright unusable gun in the game is probably the knight smg.

It would make adjudicator and lib pen useless. Use your brain. PVE balancing is essential so that all guns feel fun and equally as good to use.

Just to clarify, they did not see you through the mountain, they heard you stumble on some bones/rocks from the other side of the mountain. Avoid the rocks, avoid the bots. Also that shield put in some work! I have to run it more often after seeing that performance.

Senator is probly better since it's a 1 tap, but I am enjoying the verdict. It has a lot of backup mags and it's a 2 tap, as well as killing all the small bots and not feeling bad for wasting ammo.

I’m sorry but a assault rifle should be more powerful than a smg and should not be the same damage so it wouldn’t be a good buff to be 70 damage a shot maybe 75

It's about breakpoints and how many bullets it takes to kill things. 70 dmg is a breakpoint in this game. 75 would technically be more but it would take the same amount of bullets as defender on most enemies. Not saying it's a bad thing, I'm just telling you the number to look out for to know if it's gonna be good or not.

I like the Temderizer, sure it’s got a little less ammo in the mag but you get more overall. With its lower recoil too it’s easier to get the 3 headshots on the devistators.

@thiccfila 1 less shot to the face to kill seems meh given it's description. Meanwhile the Judi is just armor pen rifle but is sitting at 80 dmg. Not to mention there are more than 1 secondaries that will 1 tap to the face. My "high caliber" rifle on the other hand has zero recoil, bounces off armor and needs 2 shots to the face to kill(if they buff by 10). 🤔

This is why I fall in love with bad weapons, because when they get a glow up because people trash on them incessantly, they become even better. But I was always faithful. Inb4 adjudicator gets not only the marksman round of buffs AND the assault round of buffs.
