But i will say this fords technology and willingness to build another OHV makes me smile and with the power numbers these new engines put out the old engines are outclassed by smaller displacement more efficiently designed engines. The coyote is a special kind of engine. I smile every time i wrap the tach to 7500rpm. I own a 16 Gt with a few mods and 6 speed and I love the power of the coyote it may not have the tq of other engines but that coyote has legs for days and in most races i it chases down the adversary...but I will say this I am saving up for a 7.3 I wanna put it in a older ride mid 60s-73 car or truck or maybe a crown vic.....maybe I should buy a nova or a 55 chevy and put the 7.3 in it and start a Ford Godzilla in everything like they do with those junk ls engines...maybe guys will start putting Ford engines back in Ford Vehicles...

Just some general rambling on my part here... I can imagine how strong this would be with appropriately flowing intake, throttle body, cam, heads, headers and exhaust, coupled with a supercharger. With the cam specced with the supercharger in mind, I can imagine LOTS of power out of this thing. The key, I'm thinking, is making sure the intake is sized appropriately to provide the supercharger enough air, and the exhaust is appropriately sized to ensure little to no backpressure. However, oversizing some of these components could lead to loss of torque (like if the headers have too large a primary diameter, lower velocity will reduce the cylinder scavenging effect, and so forth). It's good to see someone working on development for the internals for this engine; it'll be interesting to see what cam/head combos become available.
