You guys know that the trolly problem itself is potentially solvabele in a way that all 6 people survive, you just have to double track the train, and they used to do this all the time back in the day to stop and derail is slightly, you wait for the first set of wheels to pass the intersection, then in the middle of the train (or if it only had to sets of wheels right after that moment) you pull the lever to switch the tracks, that way the train gets on both tracks and goes diagonal, making it come to an abrupt stop. but yeah there is a chance if the people are really close to the intersection that instead of saving all you kill all 6, but this is the only solution, as you could potentially let the one person be run over and try and undo their restrains but you will most definitely not make that in time either.
