What I really love about this condensed video recording of your European tour, Charles, is its honesty. No pretence about being anything other than just your genuine self - a teenager having a great adventure in countries you were visiting for the first time. You clearly had a lot of fun and enjoyed some good company with friends who will have made this trip special and something that you will treasure when you revisit these memories in years to come. I hope when you're respectable and middle-aged and caught in the rut of life, you'll see how precious your teenage years were and remember how wonderful it was to be spontaneous and up for anything. As someone who must be about fifty years older than you, I watched your 'antics' with delight and, if I'm honest, a little bit of envy as believe me, life passes more quickly than we often acknowledge and making the most of every moment is really what it's all about (so when you recognised near the end that you can sleep at home but only had that chance to visit Munich the once, you could sense that was an opportunity sadly missed). I'm glad you had such a good time and, as you worked so hard to contribute to the cost of engaging in such a great experience, you truly deserved to get to Europe - and I'm sure you'll visit many other fabulous places in the world as well in the years to come. If you'd come across me on your travels and asked if I was coming to the concert, it would have been an affirmative. Excellent. And . . . bravo! (Oh - I've never seen so much food featured in a vlog before. You made me hungry!)
