I could be mistaken, but I think those are the Victory Performance stage 1 exhaust. They were called the Long X Bow or something like that. Anyway, one thing Victory would use to contrast HD was that their bikes were quieter while still having an American motorcycle sound.

The Hammer was the V that I actually wanted as my 1st cruiser; it was 200 miles away in the 'city'. The guy rode it to his job, so we could meet. We pretty much made the deal, just needed to work out logistics and payment. (He shrunk the bike for his frame, so riding home would be an issue.) His wife finally answered his cell phone after a few days. He crashed it on his way home that day and was in the hospital in really bad shape. In '11, I found and bought '06 Vegas with about 1,100 miles at a car dealer. A week later, a Jackpot came up for sale, but I missed it by couple of days since I had stopped looking. The guy sold it to a dealer for almost nothing. I would had bought it for any of his last prices. I really loved the JP!!

Brings back fond memories of my Kingpin. Loved ripping on it after Lloydz cam, tune, trask exhaust. Shop, somehow, put a set of Victory hard bags on for me and it was awesome for long trips… until my aging body pains couldn’t take lack of wind protection anymore. Upgraded to a bike with a fairing and cam upgrade. (Can’t help but love torque). Blessed to have ridden across the country on it!

Dude I LOVE the Victory Hammer. I've been wanting one for months but they're just so. Dam. Hard. To. Find! Enjoy the bike man, I know ill ride my XC for as long as possible

I'm running some homemade exhaust on a 2013 highball. Three-quarter length with turndowns at the end, and no baffles, just straight pipes. To go along with those I have a Lloyd's vfc gen 3 fuel controller. I'm not using the O2 sensors for the exhaust. The fuel controller I'm using works on an "open loop" fuel injection platform, meaning that I adjust the fuel delivery to my liking and it stays that way, just like a carburetor but with the performance of fuel injection. Edit: if you really want your bike to haul.... open up the exhaust. Also, my bike sounds rowdy as hell.
@fulac19582 жыл бұрын
I have a 2013, the only negative thing I have about it is the seat...it sucks for long rides because of the pressure on my tailbone. Otherwise lots of power and handles good for a muscle cruiser. I also owned 2 M109R's exactly like the one you have, also great bike. Great vid, cheers

Better watch out, Brandon! Victory addiction is a hard condition to break, which is a reason they are hard to find and becoming more expensive. The 106 engine is a gem in it's simplicity, performance, and reliability. I am finding it far simpler to work on than I thought. Parts are available and reasonably priced, but what makes it even better is not having to purchase them beyond standard maintenance items. But most important, I have never lost riding time because my bike was down, or I had to wait for a part. If you aren't riding your dying as far as I am concerned. Enjoy this bike in good health and keep two down!

Hammer S has the XC front end with the duel callipers. Those bars are ment for a XC as they come back at you then swoop up to come out from under a fairing.. yeah and it's a 🎱 Hammer. It's probably a 2012-2015 as it has the 106ci not the 100ci that they changed over to on some models between 2009 and and 2012. How many gear has it got? 5 or 6? Sick bike would love one to go with my highball or a Magnum. Exhaust are sweeps with intake is a stage 1.. also you have great friends letting you borrow their bikes 👌🏾

Only the Hammer s has one rotor in front. My 06 Hammer has the Vbars and dual front rotors with Brembo Calipers all around. Aftermarket triple tree's raked 15degrees over stock, RMD Angry pipes. 100ci with a 114ci bigbore kit and Lloyd's 3rd generation fuel controller. My next mod is a 10" rim for the rear to switch the 250 rear tire to a 300 rear tire. And heated hand grips cause I live in New Hampshire I ride all year round. It's January 8th 2023 and I'm still riding, not just to the store but like 50 to 100miles a day. Also the Lloyd's tuner is coming out and a guy in Mass is gonna dyno tune and program the ECU. The Hammer and the Vegas are the 2 nicest style bike from Victory. For long rides I do like my 2012 Cross Country.
@markbender3792 жыл бұрын
At the time I heard Victory was closing shop, I actually preferred Victory's style over Indian. But style is subjective and apparently consumers felt differently. Glad to see a little departure though from filled in fenders and tassels on seats and bags to more modern offerings. Alghough the nostalgic look has won me over the past few years. Enjoy the new addition Brandon!

@Mike-In-O-Town Жыл бұрын
Simple rule.....no apes on Hammers. The Hammer is supposed to be the Victory hot rod bike, so the bars need to be low and the rider should be neutral or slightly reaching forward. IMO the stock bars were prefect.
