Kind of a clickbaity title, but the museum seems a good place for that car considering how well it's been restored and the movie connections. I can't imagine Freddy would be driving it a lot (or even his McLaren to be honest). The C8 is the supercar "daily" he really needed, and the "new" Merci will be another fun project to follow along to. It's crazy to say, but true... the new Merci isn't even close to the roughest thing he's made great again.

Disregard this post chevy we really want that flat 12 strapped in there a coupe with dual clutch and then a gated manual spyder fucking death trap...all for under 120k and just destroy every car to come from europe at the supercar level ....I want the true american Ferrari...like if you want a manual turbo v6...go get the highest that design ever went do get a golf vr6 and turbo the balls off it or go god level and get a supra ...good luck spending anything less then 70k.....man come to think of it you do have a point ...but in a vette man idk ...it would be a hard sale and I really do hope chevy goes insane and goes bigger...but then again with gas this high who's gonna want it

Edit: I am talking about new cars. I already have a GTI and owned a golf R. Since when is the Supra God level 🤣? It's a straight 6 not a V6 and it doesn't come in a manual. Don't forget the Ford GT is a twin Turbo V6.

Finally someone who understands and appreciates the insane value and performance of C8s and how far Corvette has come. Ever since the C7, Corvette is on another level. I too fell in love after renting one, and bought one in the same manner. The quality, performance, handling, feel, everything beats out cars costing 4 times as much. Too many people keep treating Corvette like it is just a cheap, american muscle car, when it is nothing of the sort. It's every bit as good and better than McLarens, Lamborghini, and Ferraris. Better because of reliability and warranty!

I'm surprised the Petersen Automotive Museum only had the 688HS and not the end of the line (of that chassis), MSO R and MSO R Spyder owned by Muc Collector. Would love to see a Singer styled Murcielago but not just an SV Kit on it (like what Daily Driven Exotics did) but the best bit of all generations of Murcielago, the SV, the Anniversary Series, etc.

He just bought the second screenused murci, he is not restoring it to "screen spec", he is not putting in the numbers matching engine (wich he also owns).... Making his f&f murci essentially a 1 of 1 Once he is done with The second one it would require so much work to get it back to screen spec that it will never be worth the work So freddy actually made his own car so much more rare/exclusive and sky rockets it's value

I've always had a car question: If you fill your tank with those gas octane boosters, would you blow up your car? Or would it be super clean for the life of the tank?

Depends on what's under the hood. Higher octane gas compresses into a tighter area and detonates harder. Those "104+ octane boosters" used to just be called "dry gas." They were originally put out to help dry up water in gasoline by making it combustible enough to burn. It's essentially just alcohol for the most part.
