I recently trained with my friend Kyriakos Grizzly and got to experience some of his training methods first hand. You may be surprised with what I learned.
YOU HAVE TO LIVE IT.

About the channel:
I am Pak, a scientist, a coach but most importantly, a lifter.
I did my PhD on "the minimum effective dose for strength" and currently, as part of the Applied Muscle Development Lab (NYC), my research focuses on strength and muscle growth. As a coach I work with individuals of all professional and sporting backgrounds, from elite strength athletes to busy professionals looking to get stronger and improve their body composition.
As a lifter, there's not much more to say than "I lift and enjoy training hard". Citations for the "I lift" part can be provided upon request.
This channel is essentially me rambling on about all things lifting, including the odd "hot take" here and there with the aim of helping other fellow lifters as well as inspiring non-lifters to lift.
Viewer discretion is advised.
Real doctor* no gimmicks.
*t&c apply - not a Medical doctor but a real one tho.

He is the true definition of ego lifter. He f#cks himself up trying to ego lift. Ego lifting is when a person lifts more weights than they should just to get the attentions. 😂😂 Besides, he needs to be on the treadmill and go on a diet instead of ego lift.

@@non9886 Isn't that one of life's best pleasures. Achieving something, a personal goal such a rush of emotions when you get somewhere you just want to be. I'm actually one of these people, i train coz i just want to, sometimes i get lost with peer pressure and start training too hard or start loving my body too much but that's not really the goal so i get lost through all that and it's not good to feed the narcissist in us too much so i always slide back to doing it for me than doing it for validation coz we get lost sometimes when we achieve something so it's best if you just take a few steps back and remember why you're even doing all these things in the first place. 1st is health, 2nd is safety, 3rd is aesthetics and if 3 violates 1 or 2 it's a no go or if 2 violates 1 a big nope but if 2 violates 3 it's up for review and if 2 and 3 violates 1 a big nope.

Something that I wish you, and the others who collab with the Bloatlord would address: NONE of Kyriakos's videos are monetized and he isn't making that much money at his day (er.. night job). Thepanash even hinted that KG is ust about able to make ends meet despite having an international following. People across borders are buying T shirts and posters of the guy but he makes nothing from these sales. Not sure if this has to do with his orthodox upbringing but there should be something that can be done.

@runisom48
@runisom48 8 ай бұрын
@@doldemenshubarti8696 I started lifting at age 11 with a barbell I made from a broom handle and two bricks. I lifted at home and at a friends home made garage gym through high school. In my twenties and early thirties my lifting was not strict because of my lifestyle but I always had some weights around and managed to at least stay in touch with lifting. In my later thirties I bottomed out from alcohol but made a commitment after seeing the pro wrestlers The Road Warriors on tv to start lifting again. I joined my first gym at that time and began lifting intensely. I progressed steadily until 2008 when I developed congestive heart failure from extreme afib. I lost all my strength and a lot of size from that which I never recovered. I made a little bit of progress during the next few years ( still had afib) but lost it all again when I had three heart attacks a few years ago. I got a stent put in for that and have managed to regain a small amount of strength. I'm doing ok now, I can lift fairly intensely on some lifts and I'm a little but stronger again. I stopped regular squats and deadlifts about twenty years ago because injuries which limited the amount of weight I can use. As far as gyms go I can tell you that Marxist globalist politicization that has been going on since the 1960s has changed everything in a bad way. In the old gyms you could just go in and lift and nobody cared if you made noise, actually people would think you were a little weird if you didn't make noise when lifting heavy or intensely. There was no political correctness, inclusiveness, diversity, sexual identity, toxic attention seeking females, hyper sensitive whiners etc. etc. to ruin your workout. Things were mostly ok until the '90s when the Marxist bullshit really went into high gear. Sorry to mention politics, but you can't escape the fact that it has ruined many a modern gym. The equipment is amazing now though, too bad the technology went forward and the people went backward. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to write some stuff.👍

One minute I want to train for power and strength and bulk and then next day I want to cut and lose fat. Never a consistent goal which rendered me unmotivated at all. You saying just training for the love of training and not worrying about goals has really hit home as simple as that statement is it’s so easy to get lost in goals and disappointment. I just started really exercising at the start of this month, and it feels good to get back to working on myself like this. I'm incredibly skinny, nearly 6'1" at 138 lbs. It'll be a while before I will likely see noticeable change to my musculature, but I'm not worried about competing with some idea of the muscular me. This isn't a game to people who care, but an aspect of life. People who look at this as a game are those who accept the idea of failure and quitting as being a part of their game, because their mindset allows this to be an aspect of such an important thing like working on yourself.

Kyriakos is the man. I thought the memes were funny, but it was always obvious to me that he was very strong, not to mention flexible. Cool guy, and funny content :)
