yOU KNOW what I am most impressed of your drumming is the talent you demonstrate in the emotion and musical expression and the playing of a piece of music . I have seen and heard a few other drummers try tp mimic BR PLAYING , BUT THEY lack the expression emotion interpretation which I think BR S MOST IMPORTANT drumming , that s what u got , you have talent ,real musical talent like buddy excelled in and no one points out Buddy did nt ,just go faster ,cleaner , and super hand speeds especially his left hand, the man could play his instrument ,he could play the music ,he was a super great MUSICIAN and to me that is why he was the best there ever was....you have that musician , you can play those songs ,great to meet you

Thank you, that means a lot! I’m here to learn as much as I can from Buddy and other greats. I’ve been doing this for years but I still feel like I don’t know nothing yet. But yeah I’ll keep up with my best. Thanks again.

Holy Flipping Farts, that was amazing! I've seen dueling drums, even Rich in a drum battle with Gene Krupa, also the one with Animal from the Muppets, but matching Buddy note for note on one of his solos takes it to another level, that's phenomenal!

To my friend Kosuke Tucker, you did another amazing job of transcribing a Buddy Rich solo. Most important is your feel for the music and how it is played so well! You are the best drummer I have ever seen at transcribing a jazz drum solo. First you need the chops and feel on what Buddy was doing. You have put in so much time and effort to reach your high level of drum playing. It was so wonderful to meet you Kosuke in Florida USA. We had a great time playing together and all of my friends just love your drumming when you came to my job and sat in. For people who want to see our drum duet, here is the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/b36zpnmXpJyIbdk I want to wish you a very Happy New Year for 2024! Keep up the great drumming my friend.

Amazing. Very hard to do - or even THINK about doing. Now imagine you are up on the stage in front of 3000 people, with the best musicians in the world and the cameras are rolling!

I became friends with Buddy's understudy. He had Buddy's drum set set up in a special studio in his home. I think Buddy willed it to him. He asked me if I wanted to play on it but I didn't want to damage it. I'm almost 60, and only now appreciate his playing. You have your own style. That is important too.

Eh... Pretty good. But still doesn't hold a candle to the greatest of them all. Of course, I speak of the one, the only, the ultimate lord of the skins, the scion of cymbals, the drummer that even Neil Peart (may peace be upon him forever) could only dream of being... AN-I-MALLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!
