The process of just pulling out all the items I love and wear currently helped me. Making a mini capsule in a way. It showed how much I was wearing on 'repeat' and what was neglected. Then seeing what is left, what may then fit into the selection of items I'd pulled. This helped me when I retired and had excess clothes that no longer fitted my lifestyle (or that I was hanging onto because I loved them but they no longer fitted. These are hardest to let go). In my defense, the entire left side is my partner’s and i am a fashion blogger so there is that. As we go forward I plan to share more on styling and such so I hope you will stay tuned!

Think of it as an art project. All sleeveless tops sort from light to dark. Then short sleeve then long sleeves. Long skirts light to dark pants light to dark. Gotta see it to work it!

I'm overwhelmed! I try to clean house, declutter and clean out my closet in one day. It doesn't work!

No worries--we all get overwhelmed! I often just do 25 items or 25 minutes at a time for 25 days or less depending on what I am working on.
