Fun fact: Most of these old russian Trucks were gasoline powered. The amount of fuel they needed was that ridiculus, that GDR had to limit the speed of their military trucks to 60km/h since they could not afford the fuel. Ratio was up to 1 Liter/km on hills or offroad. A few years ago I planned building my own 4x4 campervan based on one of these vehicles since you can get quite decent ones, more or less unused from GDR-storages here in germany (like the Ural-375D). But most of these are gasoline-powered and these are just crazy to operate, the diesel-variant (Ural-4320) is harder to find and way more expensive...

@@pez179 I highly recommend it. Its best to go in blind so alls you need to know is its a exploration game where you explore a small solar system to find the secrets of a long dead race. Its probably my favorite game of all time and has a killer soundtrack. Also, its outer WILDS and not outer WORLDS, they are often mixed up

Hi Drae, about products you buy: Lecso - is a hot tomatoes sauce with red pepper; Gulyash is a stewed meat with vegetables, and Ukha is a fish-soup :D And also, you drive GAZ-52 or some sort of it You can use either coolant or water, if you want. But in real life it's better not to mix them

You absolutely can run straight water through the cooling system if you have too. Especially for 4 cylinder engines when the optimal engine temp is around 195⁰F (don't know the exact conversion but thats less than 100⁰C.) Older cars use to use straight water as well. Often times now a days coolant is mixed with water anyways. Coolant that's 50/50 is 50% water and 50% ethylene glycol. The reasoning behind it is it both raises the water's boiling point for hotter engines and lowers the freezing point for winter so it doesn't freeze and expand in the system causing damage. There is also probably some anti growth additive to keep bacteria or algae from growing and clogging the small ports and it definitely has an anti corrosion additive to prevent galvanic corrosion from mixed metals. In the loop. Like the engine block and the radiator.

Actually, water does work as a coolant! It’s not advised, so use only in a pinch. This is because the boiling and freezing temps of water are not as vast as present day coolant.

Irl you’re usually supposed to use a 50/50 mix unless your in very cold conditions then it’s more like 30/70 using more coolant.

There, you will meet Ze German who sells EXPENSIVE *things* that the police will fine you for if you dont keep them hidden in your inventory. Wink wink. Go there with 75000 slaverian dollars to get 1 item, which you can sell at Lupova for 90000 dollars. You can buy like 10 of those *things* for 750k dollars and make a profit of 150k dollars in 1 trip to lupova There is a suspicious individual who sits behind one of the houses in lupova, somewhere near the building materials shop at the end of town, you will see him when you inspect the southern perimeter side of town. He will buy those *things* drae

In mild climate we do mix destiled water and coolant together, no reason for coolant only. But tap water with all the minerals inside? Can't be good for the radiator IMHO xD

Water is fine as long as u get it out before its gets to fall/winter plus water gets hotter quicker its not the best thing for it but work well in emergencies or games and yeah u are looking in the right spot for the oil

Water for coolant is fine but it can rust it out faster, in winter it can freeze and crack your engine block so if you live somewhere that has bitter winters either don't use water or drain the water in the winter and put actual coolant in

You can do water in your cooling system, but it's not recommended. If it's water straight from the tap, you're gonna cause a lot of internal rusting on the cooling system and other internal components, which will cause havoc on hose connectors, cooling ports, and other parts that circulate coolant. However, you can use distilled water in the cooling system as it contains far, far less minerals than straight tap water, keep this in mind. Using water in your system is mostly a temporary solution, not a permanent solution.
