I used to have a one horned goat that actually spawned naturally somehow and named it buddy. I had genuinely no idea that it was rare but I still guarded it well. However, I had thorns on my armour and when the goat ran into me, the thorns activated and I lost the goat. RIP Buddy the goat.

You could get another villager on a chicken and then turn it into a witch without killing the chicken somehow Edit: So I managed to keep the chicken alive by using fire resistance, turtle master, regen, and then spamming health 2 potions after I threw the trident but the witch wouldn't stay on the chicken. In my survival world, I have a library with books for a whole lot of situations, including dealing with the warden. Here it is. :The Warden Guide: Chapter 1: Coming prepared. When looting ancient cities or being near any place that has skulk shriekers, it is important to be prepared. First, you should carry a kit, which is a shulker box containing the following: A copy of this book 5-10 Notch Apples 3 stacks of wool 4 stacks of any block, or more wool 10 totems 3 stacks of eggs The best sword you can obtain The best bow you can obtain 2 stacks of arrows (preferably spectral) if you don’t have an infinity bow The rest of slots should be filled with food. Chapter 2: The approaches to defeating the warden. The stealth approach This is the most effective and safest approach to dealing with the warden, simply get as far as you can from it, preferably by towering up, otherwise as far as you can get and cover in wool. You can use eggs to distract it if necessary. If it spots you, move to the loud approach as your position is compromised. The loud approach This approach is not recommended, as it puts you in danger. Try to tower as high as possible, preferably around 30 blocks high, and fire arrows until it dies. Try your best not to engage in melee combat with the warden. Chapter 3: Evacuation. If everything else fails, you need to evacuate. If available and safe, use an elytra. Otherwise, get as far as you can first and then stair up to the surface. Do this as fast as possible. This book is from the Crimson Keeps. Return when finished.

in hardcore the warden can actually sometimes one shot you while wearing full protection 4 ne therite armor. He can do up to i think 120 hearts of damage with a full power attack? (he does more damage than the Wither's charging up explosion and the ender dragon's launch attack combined)

Fun fact: You can get back into your hardcore world when you die. You are automatically put into spectator when you do die, so you just need to do /creative or /survival to get back into it.
