The trap has one fatal flaw: teleportation. A stacis chamber can get the trapped player out with ease. Also, throwing an ender pearl the right way from the inside can get the trapped player stuck in a single place from where they can break themselves fully out.

Using a stasis counts as outside help as unless you have a specific setup you need another player to pull it, if you can have outside you might as well just get someone to mine in from the outside.

I think you should've used ancient debris. Even though honeycomb blocks don't have a tool that breaks them the fastest, they are effected by efficiency. Ancient debris still takes longer to break with an efficiency 5 pickaxe than a honeycomb with no efficiency and is blast resistant and can also be pushed by pistons like honeycomb and unlike obsidian. Still a great trap though, sad it didn't work.

There’s an easier one you just need glass or some other block, water and soul sand make a thing they go straight up so soon in the bottom put water through it also went to traps and put some thing on the top so it’s just king scapes to end. Apparently it doesn’t escapable because of like the UK beginning blocks.

It’s escapable, As you are now stuck, the pistons go in and out. As one goes out. Move with it and log off , then if someone else is near it can still be moving so if you are lucky and you log in while the piston has pushed the block forwards , you can be pushed inside of the pistons and simply go to the edge of the piston line and begin breaking in f5 to get a stable corner break
