In this video, I Traveled to the World's Smallest Country! The Vatican City is located in Rome Italy and is the smallest yet most influential and powerful country in the world. My goal in today's video is to reveal the secrets kept inside for the world to see! I have been to Vatican City in August 2022 and it was truly beautiful. It may be small but it has a gorgeous architecture. I accidentally left the Vatican after walking on the wrong road 😅. I ended up in the Northern Part of Rome because I still thought it was The Vatican until I saw lots of Italian Flags! A good thing about it is that you don’t need a passport to go there. Would recommend, 9/10

The Vatican Dates back to the Roman Empire all these Popes throughout time have met many famous world leaders like Napoleon Bonaparte, Henry IV and many more, it was big before consisting of all of Rome and having San Marino inside its radius but when Italy was reunifying "Italy" they invaded the Vatican due to them refusing to any land grabs and soon the Vatican agreed on this small piece of land where the Pope would be able to stay.

I think you mean most powerful, not biggest. The Papal States was around the same size as Genoa and Savoy, and much smaller than the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies during the division of the Italian peninsula.

Not only is vatican city so powerful because of owning the pope, vatican city also used to have an country, wich haves around the same size as the netherlands, this country was called 'the papal states', it went down after the napoleonic wars i believe, but this country existed from medieval time to around the year 1815, and then the papal states continued to exist as vatican city, making it one of the oldest country's in existence. Edit: after some research i found out that the papal states existed untill the year 1870.
