Are you enjoying this kayaking part of the trip? Reckon I'll make it to Budapest without running out of supplies completely, nearly dying of thirst & having to do a survival challenge along the way? (..that may be some foreshadowing...) 😊

I am loving the Kayaking as it gives you a chance to entertain us with more of your commentary...😀

Dude I struggle with the fact that you are carrying so little, no metal mug or pot to boil water? No tarp? Nothing really. You are are legend for doing this cray adventure. Big ups.

You are doing so well, it exhausts me just watching your effort with the kayaking part of this challenge. I couldn't believe the water wasn't potable at the cafe!!!At least you could get bottled and got some company too.👍😊

At the beginning of the video I was thinking about how smart you are -- discussing conserving water, etc... then (at 4:00 mins) you dove into 3 inches of water!! 😊 🙃 😄 The video was outstanding though!! Damn those pesky mosquitoes!!

that spot where you found that the slow water meets the fast water is definitely a good place to catch a fish. you were right, the bigger fish sits in the calm water and waits for small fish, bugs, or colorful pieces of anything to get pushed out of the strong current and eats them. you can also find bigger fish sitting on the edge of little whirlpools and eddies doing the same thing. the reason they do this is because the food just comes to them, and when a small fish or bug gets spun up and shot out of that rougher water they are usually disoriented, which makes them really easy targets. so ya, that was a very good area to try to fish. if your paracord is actually paracord then it will have a bunch of strands in the center. you can pull out a couple of those strands and tie them together to make a pretty good fishing line that is way thinner than the paracord and will give you a much better chance of getting a bite. only problem is the line won't be as strong as the full strength paracord, but a couple strands should be enough to pull a smaller fish up. leaving the line out while drifting and paddling is a good idea. inactive food gathering is the best. it's the same reason people set traps, because once it's out it requires little to no effort from you until you need to check it or rebait it

thanks mate, I enjoy reading your breakdowns 🤙🤙

bit late now, but you have to take the inner threads out of paracord to make a better line, or fishing net
