Super helpful and thorough review, thank you! Leaning towards the bamboo sheets, although they have a bamboo linen blend that is tempting!

The linen sheets from quince are good quality but awful for sleeping - I got an elbow rash from it and had to go to the derm to get it checked. Was told it was a friction rash from clothing and prescribed me a topical steroid cream. It wasnt helping and we totally didnt think much of the sheets being the issue. When the weather changed, we decided to switch up the sheets and my rash completely went away within weeks!

Ouch! Unfortunately I also found the linen way too scratchy for sleeping. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience!

Just recently got the bamboo set and I have to say it’s way better than much more expensive styles I’ve tried from others companies.

The reason linen gets softer over time is because the fibers have to be mechanically separated, so when you get them you have some fibers which are still stuck together that get beaten apart as you use it. Itll never get as soft as cotton for example but it does get softer

Thanks for this! Great information. I've heard that linen sheets last forever and are good for your health (something about +/- ions).

Ooh interesting! I’ll have to look more into that!

Ignore the ion part, linen is good at keeping you dry(er) and suppresses bacteria growth
