Pity the Paperlike Bumper Case isn't available for the iPad mini 7 or any Mini for that matter. I currently use the Apple Folio Denim, the outside is nice but the inside of the cover picks up dirt as if it were a hoover.

I have given Paperlike this feedback- that bumper case is so nice it’d be perfect for the iPad Mini. And yes, I sold the denim folio case as it was getting so grubby! Currently got a cheap ESR one on.

While I liked the Moft case a lot, I ended up with Pitaka’s MagEZ Case 2 for both my iPad Mini and, at her request, my daughter's iPad Pro. I have been impressed with the stability, the option of using the Mini in portrait mode, and how well it lays flat for writing. I didn't expect to be as taken with the material but it does feel nice. I do wish I had the option of the floating mode but that's the trade off for the portrait option.

7:13 it likely can be a laptop replacement for most people in most professions. KZbinrs always throw shade at the thought but I use my iPad MORE than the MacBook Pro my job gave me.

Pitaka MagEZ Folio 2 is (one of) the case you are looking for. Though it just a folio, so no side protection. But if you want full protection, and portrait mode orientation. The only one I know of are those from Tomtoc. They are 2 pieces design with the case and folio can be separated and there’s a lot of versions to choose from. Some are heavily protected, some are very slim and light. There’s also a modular one too. Hope this helps.

I agree they're really nice, but £79 for a simple case that doesn't even hold the Apple Pencil is too hard for me to justify. I tried it but sold mine on!
