Ro and Molly: talk about making a recipe from the 40s that doesn't have butter or sugar. Also Ro and Molly: put buttercream icing which uses butter and sugar on top of said cupcakes.

Molly is lactose intolerant so probably they didnt put butter and sugar in the frosting

@@swarakotamraju9463 Ro would've said it's a vegan buttercream if she had made one and butter has a very low lactose content so most lactose intolerant people aren't affected by butter. Sugar has nothing to do with lactose intolerance. You need sugar and some kind of butter substitute to make vegan icing so either way, they wouldn't have had that in the 40's either.

Not the point of my comment. Much like what Chelsea said, them calling the cupcake dairy free and then putting a dairy buttercream breaks that fact of being "dairy free". I was simply commenting sarcastically along the same lines of how they said in the video that the apples and applesauce replaced the sugar and butter but they still had alternatives such as shortening and honey, which yes, I am fully aware has natural sugar, hence my sarcastic comment. I shouldn't have to explain myself LOL, it should be obvious. 😂

I remember when I was 11 I got my first AG doll, and I was so happy because I had always wanted one. This warmed my heart so much to remember the happiness i got from these doll during a hard time in my life, the nostalgia is real

I had the Samantha and Kit dolls when I was little and I was obsessed with their stories. I learned so much about the Great Depression from those dolls and didn't even realize it until I was in American History class in high school.
