My uncle was a pro barefoot skier & used to perform at a place called Cypress Gardens in Florida. It was an amusement park as u probably know set on a lake in florida, with skiing shows as the main feature. Used to love watching barefoot skiers.

Seeing this done right next to you is pretty insane, I recall being maybe 11-12 years old friends dad had a Malibu skier really nice for the time. They were bare footing off a boom?, it was 28-30 years ago I can still see that day. I was shocked to get to drive the boat when they all jumped off a large rock, I grew up on fiberglass boats of similar length he must have noticed I had some boating experience. Great day great memory for me as a kid 🙏 to that family
