Well, not exactly. A couple of the models are different. Like the wheezer and the corruption. Still a good remake although I actually prefer the classic necromorph appearance and sounds.

When I did my first play through of the remake, I did the easiest difficulty just to kinda enjoy the game, the story, weapons, scenery, etc.., and then moved on to the higher levels of play after. I’m glad I did that. It was a lot of fun. What a great remaster.

A challenge like this is paradoxically both easy and hard- things like stasis and flinch from weapons allow for a degree of leniency when dealing with the Necromorphs, but at the same time, the game knows this, which is why all the enemies are super fast and spawn literally everywhere (on purpose).

The OG title of this series is one of the only games I feel I could do a no damage run of. I played DS1 and 2 so much when I was younger that I memorized the spawns for the necromorphs. The best I ever did was getting to disc 2 on the second game while playing zealot difficulty without dying. Couldn't get past that though.

For my hard mode run of the game where I used just the plasma cutter, for I wanna say the first 3/4's of the game with moments of exception, I almost exclusively used the stasis, backhand and stomp technique, it was amazing.

Sometimes people kept weapons for like bosses and stuff, making the game harder than they needed to be just to end up finishing the game with like thousands of unused ammo. Not talking abt dead space specifically, its the same in any game. It infuriates me, but I like how dante didn't spare unhealthy amounts of bullets trying to "save" it for the boss fight

you can use Necromorphs claws(or long pointy finger, i guess) via magnet to kill small enemies or use it to stun necromorphs. Since I'm not gonna watch the whole video so i don't spoil myself. so i don't know if you use this technique or not.
