I've been collecting art for 40 years and have really good works by Andy Warhol, NC Wyatt, David Hockney, Philip Guston and others. After you sell your NFT how do you get your crypto $$$$ back into your real bank account and turn it into real cash?? It's not that hard to sell quality museum artwork and get paid in cash.

Seems like they want to charge a lot of fees?? The word is that it is a lot of "smoke" and may be just a big Ponzi scheme. Your money goes into "space" somewhere you have no idea who's has it it's not back by the FDIC and you're not sure if they're going to send it back to you if you request it ?? That was excellent. I have someone who wants to buy a few pieces of art from my instagram but they want me to make them into NFTs first. But you have done all the dirty work for me, like freaking out about the 6 days, I would have been sure I had gotten scammed, but now I know not to get over excited if that happens. So how much money did you make? I bet not much. And I know that you lost a few hundreds already. Why did you have to pay to publish YOUR OWN artworks? What 'gas' money? For what? It's all digital, it should not cost anything. No one drove to your house to pick up the artwork, so why 'gas' money? Does it sound normal to you? No one actually needs a digital copy of your artwork. What would they do with it? Plus NFT does not protect your rights, you can 'mint' a stolen artwork or a file! And why do you think ethereum cost something? It's because you sacrificed your own actual money! You converted your own dollars to virtual seashells! It is just a scam pyramid. It's all doesn't make any sense to me.

Your artwork seems good! I hope it will sell. I've had a similar journey learning about this, and a key point is: crypto art is a related but different scene from gallery art, the styles, pricing, publicity (which must be done heavily on other sites) have gone in their own weird directions. (one criticism: no more "sound overload" bits please, it's jarring! on large speakers )

Love your vid! I am a graphic artist/designer. I joined the NFT community a few months ago, and I chose to sell through RARIBLE. My advice is PROMOTE, PROMOTE, PROMOTE. Constantly tweet on Twitter and get into the online social NFT groups. There is so much "shit" out there and you have to make your art seen on top of that giant pile of shit haha. It definitely takes time and effort, and like with anything, probably won't happen overnight. 😉 My goal is to just keep creating! I sell all my art on Etsy anyways, so I figured I might as well just reuse the same designs and make them into NFTs! It's a digital world. 😁

i think you make more revenue from this youtube video than the NFTs you are selling. And, i say this with lots of love. in addition, the "fiscal death by a thousand dinks" in this NFT fiasco is by far the most dissatisfying part of the process.... And this is coming from someone that was brought up with piggy banks -- as a kid, i got dinked everytime i go out and come home, in a bid by my parents to limit my movements and to learn to save! i learnt to prioritize my movements and make every trip count with savings left over, as opposed to aimless wanderings and wasting money.

I feel like this is the down side of jumping on a bandwagon of hype without knowing the process starting with what is Ethereum, what the fees mean, how to transfer the money but at the same time nothing to it but to do it and figure it out in this process. BUT a lot of stress would be avoided with knowing a little about the culture or Crypto and NFTs.

I’m not an expert at all in the NFT space. However, I do believe NFTs are here to stay, but they might evolve in how they are used. I don’t see this as a bad investment because it really does feel like the Wild West in terms of what these things can actually do for artists. Good question. I didn’t destroy the original painting because The original painting actually looks very different from the NFT, since it was heavily digitally rendered. And the thing about NFTs is my “signature” of authenticity when they are purchased and I currently only sell one of each, making them super limited.

It depends on the platform you sell on. In Opensea, I believe after you mint one and pay the gas fees, every other nft you mint is free. If you accept an offer though, you’ll need to pay gas fees for them.

One thing I do not understand is why she needed to fund her wallet when you can list an NFT for sale for free if it's a one piece item and if it has a no offer fixed price. This was a while back, but now you can use MATIC instead of Ethereum and the gas fees will be pennies.

@@TheBuzzedArtist Just switch to the polygon network. I’m surprised your NFTs aren’t selling. They are high quality and rare. Your popularity on youtube should help bring awareness to them! Maybe bring the price down to get started and then as they get resold, keep collecting the royalties.
