Wow Joe! Great comparison review! I am amazed at the science between these two cups and how perfectly purpose built they are. Ninja has an amazing product and development team. The Sip Perfect is ""perfect" for coffee. I love my Sip Perfect. I am able to put my scalding 180 deg. coffee from my coffee maker into my SP and the "HeatStore Technology" (a waxy substance between the walls I'm told) draws the heat away from the coffee and stores it there to help keep the coffee at the perfect sipping temperature. So I am able to drink my coffee within 5 minutes of filling. It brings it down to around 145 deg. and keeps it there while I sip away. Even down to the last swallow. I can enjoy my coffee much sooner and better than my old Thermos mug that held my coffee way too hot for way too long. I would always come home after a few hours with coffee that I couldn't drink because it was too hot for too long. Now I drink my coffee within about an hour because it is so much more enjoyable. And the sippi spout is "perfect" for not burning your lips or spilling it on yourself. It's just the perfect coffee travel mug. And it handles scalding hot refills at the convenience stores/McDonalds just the same. But I was just as impressed with the Ninja Thirsti, a purpose built mug for carbonated cold beverages. I wouldn't trade it for my SP though when it comes to hot coffee because of the spout design and the fact that it probably wouldn't cool scalding hot beverages to a comfortable temperature within 5 minutes like the SP does since it doesn't have the heatstore stuff inside. But for maintaining the temperature and carbonation of a cold beverage it's probably second to none. I just may have to get me one of them. And for such an excellent comparison review, I give you 5 tacos! The highest mark possible! 😃👍

I would be interested in an "extreme" weather comparison. Since there's 2 feet of snow outside n the thermometer is struggling to get above 10 degrees would they help the poor unfortunate souls that have to work outside keep their coffee hot? N likewise on a hot day how well would they keep them cold. Maybe a part 2 where you throw them in the freezer with coffee, n under a heat lamp to simulate sitting in the sun with ice water

Hey... those are solid ideas. Gonna have to look into that. Thanks!

Yuuppp..... Those old ones were great, albiet on the large side. I used to bring soup around with me in one of those during the winter.
