you can also whitewash the greenhouse against the heat . also make a safety feature on the opening parts of the roof against blowing over in case of sudden wind

I'm at 6000ft outside of Boise. I finally was able to drive my truck down the driveway . First time since the end of October. Pretty excited when the snow melts!!!!

Hope you don't have problems with ground squirrels. You probably should have put fine mesh metal screens below the ground level planting area near the edges of the greenhouse. They devastated my garden last year

Honey bees are unlikely to go into the greenhouse as they lose their sense of direction under the roof. You can buy small colonies of bumblebees which live in a box inside the greenhouse so that you have sufficient pollinators for your crops.

I've caught a couple humming birds in mine over the years but not once did I ever see a bee in the greenhouses.

A green house is a game changer when it comes to extending the growing season, also in a controlled enviroment away from wild life eating your veggies. Automatic watering system is a must as well. Did you plant north to south rows for sun diffusion? Taller plants on the ends of the green house. Plan your layout.

You two have done an amazing job on the green house and the mini greenhouse! Not sure how you plant, but for me, as far as feeding, my secret sauce is lime, makes it green, so it grows better and produces more. Oh and chicken litter helps a bunch!!

QUESTION: What would happen if you placed your beehives inside the greenhouse? Would you still need to winterize the hives, or would the poor bees have to work all year long inside the greenhouse? I have never kept bees and I know you have a few hives behind the solar panels, so I figured you will know.

Think about putting water barrels in the greenshouse they will aborb heat un the day and keepnit from freezing at night. I use the blue plastic ones i found used on craigs list.
