Was your hair damp when you applied the lotion or you initially applied straight in shower on wet hair?

How did u get that slip with the deep conditioner ? Cuz it didn’t give me any slip and was so hard to detangle 😢

I just made sure my hair was saturated with water and used a decent amount of product
