The fascinating and educative videos Mark Wiens and his wife make are truly in a class of their own among all the material available on KZbin (and the Internet in general). This channel has over 900 000 followers - and deserve plenty more! I always recommend it to all of my family, friends and to other people I meet. Greetings from Sweden!

Good for mark. Over the years his tasty expression has condensed and not so outlandish. Nice.

I love most food in China, and the cuisine is so different in each province, and as like noodles and dumplings a lot, Shaanxi is great. However, my favorite is Sichuan. So I hope that you will also go there Mark.
@WarrenKLiu2 сағат бұрын
I kinda want him to skip Sichuan and hit Hunan, just to see if he can take Hunan spicy since Sichuan spicy is technically less spicy than Hunan when it comes to chilli spicy.

As I was born and grew up from that province, I suggest you visit Baoji City, which is west to Xi’an. Yanyangtian is my favorite local restaurant serving hundreds of authentic local dishes.

Yes, Chang An is the capital of China in the Tang Dynasty. When you see young ladies wearing low neckline, flowing high-waisted Hanfu in Xi'an, it is in the style of the Tang Dynasty.

You do the best food videos since forever ago! I miss your "Mark Weins's lean back when tasting delicious foods from around the world!" All other channels copy you; including Mythical Kitchen. You should collab with them... (you can pitch) let's see if they can create a dish as awesome as one of your travels. They like to do two teams, and you be the judge. You also should do a collab with Uncle Rodger. I like your style better, but those guys are good too. He has a mall restaurant in Malaysia... Be modern, be positive, be creative! -Marco (from Washington D.C.) Vietnam, China, Cambodia, and Ecuador over the las 15 years.

Chinese food is found all over the world and has influenced cooking styles as well as techniques in several other countries. I live in Scandinavia, where there have been Chinese restaurants since the 1940s. Everyone in my country, Sweden, has grown up with Chinese food. However, most Chinese restaurants in the West have very similar menus which don't reflect the wide diversity of Chinese cuisine. I hope this will change in the future as all of China has amazing food. Just like Italian food is much more than pizza and pasta and Swedish food goes beyond Swedish meatballs, Chinese food is much more than what people in many other countries know as 'Chinese food'. We should all be proud of our own cultural heritage and we should also be willing to get to know the cultures of other nations.
