I TRIED CYBERCLOPS IN THE 160s...

Cyberclops is handy for Constructors as the 58% bonus damage on energy attacks 1/5th of the time also applies to traps so has an effective bonus of ~12% which is better than the Super Charged Traps bonus for one Constructor plus it boosts any energy weapons you may use. I've been using it with Electrified Floors and it very effectively kills Husks who aren't shielded which leaves me free to focus on just placing traps intended for the thiccest critters.

I tried that recently and I believe the 11.6% effective bonus is inflated. This bonus requires nearby enemies and that just isn't always the case. I think a 5th constructor is significantly more reliable while also functioning on all elements. Here's the run - kzbin.info/www/bejne/jWfImZR_nrmUg5o

@@xMistaBeastxGames It does require at least two enemies for the chain to occur so there is a situational consideration. But the alternatives are adding support characters who just provide added utility to base building and a weaker damage bonus limited to just traps. Frozen Castle may be a viable way to increase effectiveness of bases for damage since a Husk taking longer to cross tiles would take more damage from Electrified Floors and spend more time within range of traps but since I don't have The Ice King I'm not able to make a comparison.

Actually did some numbers on this cause someone was asking about Teddy Loadouts recently, so I'm guessing they watched the stream. Test was to determine the how much damage the Lead hero can produce whilst having all max 130 ninjas for the highest Ability Damage, no additional buffs. Potental damage over 15 seconds: - Fragment Flurry: 60 shots / 843,780 Damage - Cyberclops: 60 shots / 843,780 Energy Damage (+ 196,230.24 Chain Damage) - Staredown: 60 shots / 843,780 Damage (+ 520,530 Laser Damage) - Jilly Teacup: 60 shots / 843,780 Damage (Variable: Energy Lightning can do up to 100k every 2 seconds. Crits trigger randomly) - Trailblazer: 75 shots / 1,543,650 Damage (6 shots a second, +46% Damage) - Enforcer: 108 Shots / 1,335,744 Damage (+12 sec) Breaking it down as a DPS value it's around about a 50-100k DPS, which is not very high. Staredown has the highest potential vs mixed element crowds, Cyberclops is the best for any elemental needs, and Jilly could be strong but at 5% she's not guaranteed high damage. In theory you may get enough damage perks and crit opportunities to maybe take down a 160 smasher, but it'll never happen. Realistically, the 13 Base Damage needs a buff to about 25. Until they do that there isn't really any reason why people should run Teddy in a 160.

@@aaronjump2193 It actually offered a heap of clarity as to what the glaring issue with the ability is. We all know that it is the Base damage which is low, but for the best Heroes of the bunch to not even reach half of a 160 Smasher's health shows the severity of how weak Outlanders can be. When I do testing for weapons I usually aim for a smasher to be killed in one mag, and hopefully within the 8 second mark as that is how long TRO generally lasts. Non TRO builds are a little different as they may require two mags, but even those can kill a smasher in around about 15-20 seconds approximately. Fragment Flurry Jess would need about 4 uses, or a full minute of up time. That is not balanced and lacks immensely seeing as their class is supposed to be build around run and gun style of gameplay where the gadgets and abilities do most of the work.

I worry that to strong and it might encourage more going "afk" which I'll never understand. But seems they could do 20+ and tweak if necessary. They are run n gun buffing pistols n smgs rather than AR. I'd love to see it for survivalist too though. I think even your move creep they picked 13 for all these abilities and none of them should be any less than 18.. it's like they're set up for a hero ability of 32.50 or to be buffed by teammates but realistically it's more like 2600. My guestimation is they have intelligent engineer types who can code and are reasonably capable but never hired a "human" calculator for a game with so much math. Why they don't play with it and tweak these things Idk.

I personally run cyberclops in primarily an energy AR loadout (GREAT aoe with that chaining), just the usual assault sledgehammer etc build, mean whilst that energy boost simultaneously buffs my traps and abilities, it's a fun way to play :)

Instead of fragment generation, (not needed), use the Battle Beat chick. Essential, with this build she constantly procs for 50 percent extra damage. Instead of Under Warranty, use the Hero that adds range and range damage to TEDDY.

50% over 8s averages 25 plus downtime in-between to kill 9 taking no less than 1second but realistically 3 to work out to about 18%. Just above the 15-17% standard because it varies more than a flat buff. Probably similar damage.

Battle Beat only occurs once per Teddy deployment. Tried it in an SSD a while back where I could see the numbers slowly drop and not retrigger. Also I believe the math is off on the damage it offers. It started at 22,964 and ended on 17,496. It should have started more at 26k so I think it's bugging out and boosting the 13 base stat by 50%, not the end value damage.

I wish cyberclops was as good as he sounds on paper being able to allow teddy to take advantage of energy and making all your energy weapons and traps more effective maybe a little buff to him and some other teddy hero’s to make them more viable in end game would be amazing

Cybercyclops is a fun loadout. Is not the best loadout, it's not an amazing single target damage loadout its not a sit back drop a Teddy and go make a sandwich loadout and healing death burst is its kryptonite. However, exploiting the fact that ALL energy damage can get a bonus makes him good. Use all your abilities, bring a good energy weapon use your turret and your traps and actually play the game he will be putting in some work. You will have fun and you will see the most insane damage numbers of all time. I've never seen him as a teddy loadout. He is a pull out the entire kitchen sink and all of it gets a bonus load out.

I prefer battle beat over under warranty been using this build for a long time. Pairs very well with energy damage in general. The bounce affects everything energy. I will say you cant just throw a teddy down and win unless you're low area. Teddy is just an arm in my tool kit. Normally running noct for primary, xenon, and plasmatic for smashers. Shock tower for aoe clear to maybe revive or slow a choke point, smash for getting rid of shielders quickly. Edit: Also see alot of comments to take fragment charge out but you need it to throw teddy down as much as possible. Edit for my edit: I do have a class for everything I just like doing different things. Can I mini build, run crit builds, or constructor? Sure, they all have their uses but I will say this build hasn't let me down. Honestly like to switch it up more BECAUSE cyberclops can be a boring play style.

I run Azalea Clark rather than Jilly Teacup in that slot for a flat extra 15% rather than a single crit on each enemy. Also, as one of Cyberclops' strongest soldiers, his bear shouldn't be used on it's own lol, run one of the retro space weapons (or any energy weapon of your choice, I just like running a matching aesthetic) with it. It's more of an "energy cell saver" build. Cyberclops is my goat !!

The most useful outlander on 160s is Subzero Zenith and Cyberclops bunus is very helpful in his loadout 😎 For a future, you better try Cyberclops loadout for Shock Tower - it may be more interesting and powerfull than T.E.D.D.Y.

I'll have to try him with Zenith lead in a high spawn mission. I used to use him more but he got replaced as there weren't always husks to chain too, and I needed the damage. If it chains affliction though it may be fun to switch it around.

I was almost upset at first but i understand context better now. Teddy sucks at high level. Physical to energy would be a 50% buff to Teddy 75/50=1.5 making teddy suck less. Cyberclops though also buffs all the other stuff(i didnt know about traps till you said). Otherwise i agree completely Cyberclops is high A Tier, not because of teddy but all together; 11% trap buffs and weapon damage too. There arent many other outlanders trap buffing. Anyway thank you for the hard work!!

Even on lower pl you can use lots of other heroes more easy and effectively than teddy. Electro-pulse Penny and Thunder Thora makes mission on 108pl SOLO AFK without traps! Swamp Knight with Trick And Treat team perk can kill everything just staying on one place and doing nothing )))

For example if i have a daily quest for multiple kills i can do it using defenders on stormshield, but also i can go in any mission (low level) and become a mass murder using any energy weapon )
