Yes, I got tools and supplies to make pumpkin shaped cookies. I was so excited. The cookies turned out well. The decorating part was sooo hard. Definitely much more difficult than the videos make them seem. The videos make it seem so easy.

I had been watching a bunch of cookie decorating videos and decided to do decorated cookies last Christmas with my grandkids (7, 5 and 5). I gave them a short tutorial and set them at a table with their bags of frosting while I worked in the kitchen with my bags of frosting. ALL the cookies turned out gorgeous. They did so well, and I was amazed at how well I did on my first try.

I thought you did an amazing job on the cookies, but they did look difficult to decorate. Just think back to the time you started baking and decorating cakes. There is always a time when you're learning how to do something. Then all of a sudden you realize how easy it's become. Incredible job!

Yo you know it takes practice, keep doing it and you'll be just as amazing at decorating cookies as you are with cakes. Love your videos and your recipes, you and your crew are awesome. You should do the cookies again, cookies can be a fun accent to cupcakes and such or use to decorate cakes, I did a carousel cake one time with different animals instead of the horses and I've done a traditional one, they wanted it completely 3D so I used pretzel rods for all the structure to hold up the Canopy top and put the cookies on

Awesome video cool it’s a helpful tips in how to decorate the simple thing before moving to the big one sweet. Of course practice makes perfect if you don’t get right in the first time just keep going and you surprise yourself. Enjoy the video lots of love and blessings

I am a part-time baker and I find decorating sugar cookies to be so much more satisfying than decorating cakes. Cakes take less time to make though. I feel like royal icing is more forgivable, as you can always scrape off and start again! I find it a challenge to smooth out cakes on a turn table. Sugar cookies have a longer shelf life than cakes. They can last up to two weeks in a sealed Tupperware container, where cakes dry out so quickly. Cakes take less time to package; however, I've never shipped them. I can easily ship cookies.

I started making sugar cookies for my girls and a friend but it has turned into a full blown hobby that I would love to do, If I just had the time. I rarely get to finish a set. I spend a lot of time looking at the flaws or trying just to get the icing on the cookie. Then what I don't like, everyone else loves. I just wish I had more time to do it full time.

Man this is how I know Yolanda is OCD...lol. It's what makes her the perfect baker and why I watch her. I'm OCD and she is about clean lines and everything. CLEAN IS HER THING. The thought of those fine little lines abd keeping them clean...she had so much anxiety. I was like she is gonna be trying to relax while doing this...lol Perfectionist!!!!!
